I got validation with a full asking price check
Glad to see you got a decent offer, I know people are picky about modded jeeps and many prefer stock so they can mod it the way they see fit and use their preferred brands. However there are some that will take a modded jeep over a stock any day, there was a thread on here recently about a guy trading in his stock rubicon to a dealer so he could get a heavily modified one, same color and the pricing was a wash so those people do exist, agian congrats on the sale and glad you got what you wanted for it.

My gladiator sold for 45k to a private seller. They were able to get a loan as well.
So banks are lending more than book value for used vehicles... Interesting. That flies directly in the face of the tightened lending requirements that have been all over the news the past 6 months+ due to lenders taking an absolute bath on COVID era inflated prices and loans.

Not really clear if there was cash offsets and the loan may have been for a lower amount.

Yeah. These kinds of threads are not verifiable in any way, shape or form.
Yeah, If he got a decent asking price great, but the advice give by most was sound. Nobody said it was impossible, just on a running average improbable.

There are always 'one-offs' out there. The exact right person at the right time who was willing to pay above a normal price because things timed out right and they wanted THAT one

You gotta just ignore many people. Theres tons of dickheads on here. Im one of them.
He defied the odds. As a general market value - that's over-priced. But he was lucky and caught that one person with a lot of money who wanted THAT truck at THAT time.
Frankly, most of the other comments were correct, generally speaking.
Then we go back to - something is worth whatever a seller and BUYER agree it's worth. To that one person, it was worth it. If they hadn't been there at that point in time, who knows. It's not validation of the value, it's that some people want that ONE thing at that ONE time and want it badly enough, they will pay over market.
It was over-priced, but he caught someone who didn't know............. or didn't care, or where the timing was perfect for them

So you did not get the $50K you originally thought it was worth?
I never listed it for 50k. Someone asked me what I thought it was worth. That was my response before looking into it. Obviously by me saying I got 45k is not the same as 50k so you could have answered your own question without bothering with the condescending question.

No need to get emotional and start name-calling. It's just that people are buying brand new 2024 and 2025 Rubicons and Mojaves for the price he supposedly got for a used Sport, so it's human nature to be skeptical of the math.

I guess so. He got denied by 1 and then accepted by a credit union. Regional I believe
