Modified Jeeps are a tough sell sometimes, it is your vision and not the buyers. Figure whatever KBB says and "maybe" 25 cents on the dollar of what your mods are.

You can get a brand new one for under $40k all day long. Those mods aren't worth what you think they are. A lot of buyers are going to see them as something they need to change unless you find the buyer that wants all the same things you did to it.
Based off what I’ve looked at nation wide. Under 40k is a stretch esp as an out the door cost

Sport (not s) new for $36k One of many https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for...=IN&trimCode=JEEPGLAD|Sport&clickType=listing

Yours is not new. It’s used. Not worth new value no matter how much you’d like it to be. Sorry. No doubt yours is a step up from the one above but anybody looking is going to base the value of yours off the comparable’s they see online. Sucks, but its reality at the moment. Used Gladiators values have taken a big hit over the last year even though new prices are still inflated. The Sport models are being offloaded the cheapest by the Steallantis crime syndicate to make coin before the bills come due.

Vehicle value threads almost never go the way someone expects them to go. Just too many variables. Opinions are cheap, finding the person to cut the check is another story.

You got to find the buyer that just wants turn key and those are few and far between. They are assuming liability for your mods and bear that burden should it go sideways as the dealership will not touch it with a 10 foot pole.

Unless you are looking to sell or trade, any concern about value is pointless. Any newer vehicle is a money pit, not an appreciating asset.

The days of Covid insanity are gone. The value dropped by half when you drove it off the lot, and the mods don't add any.

Indeed. Bought my Mohave in 21. Drove for a year and 6k miles. Sold it for $1500 more than I paid. That had never happened before and prob never will again.

To the OP....u think it's worth 50k? Ask 50K. You don't need our permission. maybe you'll get it. Good starting point for negotiations, if nothing else.

Can tell you I don't pay for somebody else's mods because I don't trust them. Oh sure, they'll tell ya "professionally installed by XXX". And sometimes, maybe that's even true.

But I don't trust XXX, either.....

Tree farmer now. Retired first responder.
Most used Jeeps retain more dollar to dollar value if left stock.

Unless you have tight connections in the off road retail or race industry, your vehicles 'additions' can be a reduction to its value.

OP, It's a nice JT. Keep it to keep any investment and capability for yourself. The resale is a crap shoot and will probably be disappointing to you and your wallet.

You’ve gotta realize that when you put those mods on it, you aren’t getting a penny back. I’m sorry if you thought otherwise. It’s worth about $35k and some will say I’m high on that. You could put it on an online auction and hope a few people really want it and bid it up, but that’s hit or miss.

Hopefully, you saved all the original parts. Return it to stock, as much as possible, and get what you can out of it. You should be able to get more money out of the Mods by selling them separately. It's easier to find multiple buyers for the separate pieces than one buyer that will take them all.
