I don't have the bed inverter, or the trail rail. I just have the outlet in the back of the console. They must have changed the combos at some point. But good to know on how it works with power off. I've only used it to power my small compressor.Anyone who gets the inverter, gets an outlet on the back of the console. If the Trail Rail package is added, an outlet is included in the bed with an on/off switch in the cab. The single 400 watt inverter powers both outlets. The inverter only works when the ignition is on. The USB ports will stay on, after the ignition is off, if there are active devices drawing power. Otherwise, they also turn off with the ignition.
