What The Hell Now? Moment

A LOL all is cool now lesson.

My 1st newJeep not my 1st Jeep by far. My 2nd one with AC and my 1st with a hard top AND AC. In all other models I’ve had, there are many sounds.

Well this one I can hear EVERTHING. Recently I had a paper get sucked into the air intake for air ricirculation and made a weird sound like sand hitting the windshield. It was the paper end making crinkly noises. So acoustics in a Jeep changes noises

Today I was hearing a hiss or wind passing through something. That changed with speed and rpm. I was like “what the f now?”

Finally stopped yo look… and saw my floor plug was knocked out . Did the “oh”. Weird was it sounded like it came from under the dash.

So if you hear that weird air noise , look down.

Happened to me the 2nd week of owning the jeep, I jump in and suddenly it sounds like the transmission or engine is killing itself. I actually called the dealer, made an appt, called the wife, then got to harbor freight walked over to the passenger side with the car running...and the wife had kicked the drain plug loose last time she had ridden in it.

It's when the voices have a staff meeting and you're not invited. Then you hear one of the voices ask the question. "What are we going to do with the body". That's when you start to worry.
