Wait for it……….I want a ducky but no one loves my JT. ?
Good luck with that one... This definitely falls into the "cheap crap" manufacturing that China and others excel at. You might find some made in Taiwan or other country if you are explicitly avoiding China but I've just reused the ones someone leaves for me. This whole thing is cute and all but I see no reason to keep them and it's more a passing it along thing. Not supporting shitty sellers if you keep reusing what's out there.I added an edit for any suggestions that aren't Amazon. Hoping to find a US source vs unknown source.
My understanding is that it started about a year or so ago and mainly was a way to brighten someones day and to say you have a nice Jeep. I think it started with posts to social media like Facebook and Instagram and then migrated to the Jeep boards. Seems to be mainly a Wrangler/Gladiator thing. Can someone explain the Duck thing to me as I'm old. It seems that only one of my Jeeps gets ducked. My beat up 07 JKU got ducked twice parked right behind my son's 11 JK his was not ducked. Both lifted on larger tires (his 35's, mine 37's) My Commando parked across the street from them did not ducked. This seems to be a new thing but I don't understand it.
Don't hold your breath. Angry eye grills still exist.Regardless, it is benign thing and like many fads, will probably fade out over time.
As an old saying goes, "I used to play different sports and then I found out you can BUY trophies. Now I'm good at everything."I want a ducky but no one loves my JT. ?
