Hello everyone, my 21 Mojave did not come with the AUX switch panel. I have narrowed it down to the Lasfit or the Mopar OEM one. I have found them to get close in price but it seems the Mopar is a little more work to install but has more control using the touchscreen once installed. I don't think I will need more than 4 switches but any recommendations between these? Thank you for the advice and help

The integration of the Mopar is well done. The choice between momentary and latching or to update that later is pretty swell. The catch as you mentioned is the install is a bit of a beast and I don't know if youd have the pre-laid wiring that make the factory option so helpful.

I'm interested in this as well; thought that I had read that the Vos switches were a little bright, and wouldn't dim with the rest of the instrument cluster. I'm leaning toward the OEM one as well, and once installed, you should be able to control some of it's behaviors through the 8.4" touch screen.

Which one did you go with, and how do you like it?

If you’re set on getting one of these…I’d say the oem one…..but ….I think the vos JL400 looks way better
Agree on the VOS. You get a lot more for your money, IMHO.

Auxbeam 8 gang switch here, big markdown a few months back, so I took the bait. It's worked out well so far, 2 slots for lights, 1 for winch solenoid and 5 for future use. Wished mine was the dimmable version.

Another vote for vos jl400, the integration in to the grab handle is so nice I ended up buying one for mine and one for the wife's.

All I can say is 4 switches can get eaten up quick….. front spot, ditch, rock lights, compressor…. Zero growth…

But- I do think that the factory switches are a “clean” install look.

Dropped the switch pros link…. We have them in our sxs and our last jk build and it’s the cleanest aftermarket solution out there (for more than 4…). ???

Wow, that does look good. I went with OEM and don't regret it at all, but it was not a fun install.

I have the LASFIT switches. I had a shop install them because I’m new to all this and electronics are something I pass on with a new vehicle with less than 1k miles.

Took my shop a couple hours (although they were installing new headlights and grille lights as well).

I currently have my switches hooked up to the pod lights or whatever people call them (the small square ones that sit on each side of the hood - I went with Morimoto amber lights).

It works fine when I use it. One thing to note: the car must be turned on in order to use the LASFIT switches

Edit:
should also mention that you can usually find a discount code for LASFIT to get them even cheaper. I don’t know any off hand but I googled for coupons.

I have the Vos JL300, and love it I have it hooked up to be powered all the time, as most everything on it is for my camping in the bed plan, if I did it again I would go with the Vos400 as the grab handle location is awesome, but I do have five things on my six panel already…..Jack

I have installed the Lasfit switches in my truck. They look just as OEM as OEM and are not tied into the BCM.

You only have to have the ignition switch set to ACC in order for the switches to function. The truck does not have to be running. The switches are getting their power from the 12v accessory plug.

If someone needed to have them working with the ignition completely off, they would just need to run an always on 12v source to the switches. The actual relays in the control box are connected directly to the battery.
