I would have loved a 2 door, but I have 4 kids. Again..... Hennessy Mojave.....
In two doors. I would find money to burn in that tank. It would be a hoot to give the Raptor a run for its money.

Had it come in a 2 door I'd have been first in line for sure. My lifestyle now and nostalgia for the old Comanche I drove in high school really would be the only two reasons though...

I know I am probably an oddball here, but I would have been very interested in a 2 door extended cab with the 5' bed and a freedom panel hard top.

I prefer a shorter wheel base and turn radius.
I like the idea of having freedom panels with a short rear section that I can remove/install (hopefully solo) and be able to place in the bed under a tonneau cover.
This.

I wouldn't buy 1 but hurray for options? I don't see them selling nearly as well, same with Wranglers, I see far more Unlimiteds than I do standard 2 door.

Memo to Jeep: Offer a rear seat delete option with an access panel/pass thru to connect bed to rear cargo area for longer items. See Chevy Avalanche for reference.

Option code: Scrambler

I think the two door versions we see here are cool looking, but I got one because it has 4 doors. Personally they are bad pass looking when done up with larger tires.

2 doors are becoming a thing of the past. Just like sedans. Everyone wants a 4 door SUV or something utilitarian. The big 3 are very aware hence no 2 doors. Do you see a 2 door Ranger?

don’t make many and, “SURPRISE”! You don’t sell many. My last wrangler was a JKR. If they offered at 2 door JT I would have one. I needed a bed not 2 added doors, damnit!

Here's an interesting article from 2012 about what happened to the small and mid-sized 2 door trucks as well as the family sedans and station wagons if your interested in learning the truth. I to thought market demand dictated what "the big 3" offered consumers but its simply not the case.

Shorter wheelbase is going to dramatically reduce tow rating, that blue one was built on a JLU frame from what I remember, so rated for 3500lbs at most. Payload would also drop since that shorter base affects overall stability of the vehicle.
