Not just taking them off, but then storing them somewhere safe so they don’t get damaged.
I just set the doors on carpeting and lean them against the wall.

Frigid winter conditions for 8 months of the year make it difficult.

It's kind of hard in FL. I see a couple people do it, but it rains too often. Even when it says 0% rain, there might be that one tiny damn cloud that has a little rain in it. And although my old f100 is more of my 'daily driver', I do keep the Jeep outside enough to where I just don't want to deal with that. When I do drive it, the windows are down about 95% of the time, and the freedom tops are off a good percentage as well (pending my drive).

I did a couple weeks ago, but in Texas there is just constantly crap floating around in the air, so by the end of a day of driving naked you end up with pollen impregnated in every orifice both in the Jeep and in you. Still do it.

Pittsburgh is one of the least sunny major cities in the U.S. If Jeeps were sold with a REAL roof, I would pay more for that. I realize that's an unpopular take but a removable top is not a selling point for me, especially with the added noise, water issues, and load bearing troubles.

If I had garage space I would take doors and roof off. However my wife gets half the garage, my motorcycle and powered paraglider get the other half. So I take the bike out when I'm needing the full-air experience, and the JT when an open roof is good enough.

As other Florida people have said, it's hard in our State.

Spring - Pollen, windy and unpredictable temperature swings

Summer - high humidity and temps. The afternoon rain shower will find you if you are more than 10 minutes from home.

Fall - This is the prime time to try and run naked. Still have the rain showers but not as bad and humidity is low

Winter - For me, it's to cold once the temps drop below 60 degrees.

Ever been to the mojave desert in the summer? I'll stick with closed up and the ac on thanks. Most off roading in general sucks with the top and doors off. 120⁰? No thanks. Mud, sand, snow, dust? Again no thanks. I bought my mojave to drive freeway speeds in the desert and almost no time of the year is that fun naked.
I drove through there with some family back in Summer of 2013. We got out to stretch our legs on the side of the road and got hit with a fat, hot ass, dry wind. I never felt a penetrating heat like that in my life and I grew up in southern Louisiana
