Currently running 37x11.5x17 Nitto Recon Grapplers, love the look stance & ride & happy to see some validation. Don’t think I’ll ever go back to wide(r) tires again.

I really like that. My JK is my hardcore offroader. My JT is more for work and overlanding stuff. I like to keep the tires tucked. This seems perfect. What lift are you on?
Thank you, 2inch AEV (with an additional 1/2 inch terraflex in front)

great video and interesting data. but, i would add that load range E tires are not ideal for setups. stiff load range e sidewalls are contributing to a lack of flex.
Yep. I have load range E on some trailer tires and they’re quite stiff— 10ply if I remember correctly.

It all depends on how your truck is set up. If you don’t carry anything appreciable in the bed then E rated tires are probably overkill. If you have an overlanding set up and carry a lot then E rated tires are a better option.

Just because a tire is E rated doesn't necessarily make it stiff. The stiffness can vary based on the tire and/or manufacturer and, as seen in the video, even 2 of the 'same' tire but different sizes can have different stiffness.

I'm running 255/85R17 Baja Boss ATs (E rated) on my 2-door JKR. I'm running full steel skids and a winch, but it is not what I'd consider a heavily loaded vehicle. These BBATs flex so well that I run them at 20psi off road with no lack of grip whatsoever. For reference, my old tires were 255/80R17 KM2s, and I had to run them at 12-15psi.
