Will i regret not getting LED's?

My truck has the active safety group so backs already LED.

Takeoff DRLs: 200
Takeoff fogs: 100
New headlights: 750

Now that the 21 and up have pre-wired halo harnesses even on halogen equipped, it's cheap and easy enough to do after the fact. No rAgrets.

People are constantly ripping off their fenders and bumpers so brand new takeoffs of fogs and drls are always available.

The two options I'd absolutely get factory are front trailcam and aux switches. I'm collecting parts to add those 2 and it's difficult and expensive.

The aux switches are an easy fix, go aftermarket with the sPOD or VOSWITCH. Both are easy installs that don’t require you to mess with factory wiring and doesn’t require dealer programming. Plus you get more than 4 switches. Switch-Pros is another, but pricey option.

Some issues with the heating elements on the new Oculus lights. A fix is in the works, and all of us who were affected will get replacements when available.

I hope they fix the issue. This is the primary reason why I didn't get the factory LED's and to go withe the Oculus.

Yep. I am starting to wonder if I will regret not getting the LED'S on my recently ordered JTRD. I had given consideration to getting the steel front bumper but also had to get the KED package as well. My thoughts at the time was that I was planning on getting the Oracle heated Oculus headlights along with the Oracle taillights, reverse lights and fog lights.

However since I have placed my order I have started reading up a little more on the forum about their products and the issues they have had. I had mainly not wanted the factory package due to no heated headlight. So now I am thinking I may regret my decision here.

The answer is yes and only yes. The stock halogens are terrible. Certainly, you can get aftermarket later.

I’m in the minority here but I don’t think the halogens are too bad. But if I was to order another Jeep 100% how I wanted it I would order it with the LEDS’s.

Well a little late to go back now and change things now. I will have to figure out what products I'm going to buy. Going to look into see who all are making heated headlights. Might start scouring marketplace and see if there are any take-offs on there.

I started with halogen. Bought Oculus unheated and have had zero snow / ice issues.
Wife has factory LED and has had zero snow / ice issues.

We typically get over 100” of snow per year.

I debated this over and over before ordering.
what convinced me was I was getting 8% off invoice so it wasn’t far off from cheaper oculus, easily sourced takeoffs down the road and for insurance purposes if an accident ever happened. I prefer the oculus halos though

Yes and no.
Just got finished today with my turn and DRL upgrades (Morimoto) and have the Oculus headlights. Starting on month 5 of my wait for my Oculus tails.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have went with factory LEDs or something other than Oculus. For the price, I would expect better quality from the heads and fogs. Everything else that they sell seems to be a Kickstarter program. Customer service is down right degrading.

Don’t know if this has been mentioned but all interior lighting is upgraded as well, with the LED package.

I had JW Speaker EVO J3 on my JK, they were fantastic! I had intended on ordering with the halogen and was going to fit the J3 in, then looked into it a little deeper and realized all that came with the LED upgrade and made sure to include on my order.

I just got my 22 with Halogen lights.
I don't have an issue with them. They were actually better than expected.

Cheaper counting evertything? Headlights, taillights, fog lights, turn signals and marker lights? Or just headlights? Not saying you're wrong. I don't know. Just asking. The LED package changes all of the lights on the whole vehicle.
That said, we have one jeep where it came with the led package, and another where we added just LED Headlights later, since we bought it used. Don't regret either.

Given the choice I will never get another vehicle without HID/LED/Laser or whatever the next iteration is. I look at it as one less mod to do, less hassle with finding the right aftermarket part(s), more time enjoying and less time wrenching. But to each their own, some find it relaxing and enjoyable doing mods and wrenching.
