Well I’m now not sure this is the issue. The dealership had to order the part so I left thinking it was solved. When I got home I thought I would tape it up and drive it for awhile to make sure this was it. After drive it for about a hour the leak was still there..not sure this is my issue. Will let the dealership replace it and see what happens. The good thing is the service guy said something was not right so at least They don’t think my crazy..
Mine would start about 40mph and be loud enough to be annoying at 70.After I applied my fix last night I was hearing it under 20mph.

Then I turned off the fan, and realized it was the fan and my obsessive compulsion to make it go away.

Take the panel off altogether and tape over the holes and the end of the lower window weather stripping.

Mine is not entirely gone, but it is gone enough for now. I think the remainder is the weather stripping that runs around the inside of the window frame. At the front upper corner where it makes a bend it pokes out a little right there and is very flexible. I'm going to glue it down with some 2 sided grip tape like you would use on a golf club. Very thin and sticky as all get out.

Thanks for your trouble shooting of this. I just ran a thin bead of clear silicon around the triangle piece and that solved it. Nice and quiet, even for a soft top. Thanks again!

Well we finally found my air leak/wind noise. After spending about a hour at the dealership we started taping things off and found the leak was coming from the top corner of the hard top. We tried several different things to give it a better seal but nothing took care of it. The tech decided that maybe it was a bad seal and ordered a replacement. Mine is a LE Gladiator. Stay tuned...

I have a wind noise in the right door that sounds like a window is cracked open. I have been chasing this leak since day one. I pointed it out at the dealership when/as i was buying it. Salesman and mechanic drove it and decided it is "characteristic of the vehicle", which is bullshit I drove two of them before I ordered this one and neither one makes the noise. Worth mentioning the left side is quiet as a church mouse as it should be.

I've remounted the freedom panels, lowered and inspected the windshield twice, no change.

Today as I was obsessing over it and inspecting the window and door seals yet again, I notice that on the passenger side (where the noise is) the little sail shaped piece of trim/molding at the front corner of the window kind of behind the mirror fits like shit.

So I took it off completely and put Gorilla Tape over the holes and went and drove it. Probably 80-85% better. So I stopped and cut the tape to allow re-installation of the trim and put it on. Immediately the noise was back although maybe diminished slightly.

This part is a poorly designed piece of crap, and looks like it is also out of spec. There is one central fastener and two guide pins. When it is installed by virtue of the centrally located spring clip fastener, the plastic piece of shit folds up like a taco funneling air off of the mirror mount into the mounting holes in the door (despite the soft/spongy/thin/inadequate and generally shitty weather stripping bonded to the back of it.

So having said that, I can't find a parts diagram showing this part, or the part number, and I don't even know what it is called, other than plastic piece of shit. I need the part number so I can order one or two.

I'm going to initially try to secure the thing with 3M two sided tape, but before I go to work on it I want to have a replacement original piece in hand. If 3M doesn't do it, the next step is screws.

I am 100% certain that if I try to get the dealer to fix this it will drive me into a dimension of frustration and general pissed off-edness that will rob all the joy out of my life and may result in my lapsing into a stream of profanity that would make a Mexican prison guard vomit.

So help me out, does anyone know what this part number is, or have a parts diagram with it shown, or even what it is called?

That's the offending part right there
I just bought my 2020 gladiator this week and notices the same thing the moldings are deformed. The other thing is the dealership tells me that to replace the moldinga you have to replace the windows as well they say theyre one piece. Theyre replacing my 2 back door windows and the very back glass. And this is a 2020 brand new 40,000 dollar vehicle.

yeah, very odd to be that a newly designed, brand new 2020 vehicle could have these issues, but thank god for for guys like @bgenlvtex helping others out. When i test drove a JL rubicon, it had buffeting and drove me nuts. I was fearful the JT would too, but luckily, its quieter than every car i've had in the last 10+ years.

Did you take it off?
no, just peeled it up and used GE's RTV clear silicon, which stays flexible and can be removed if needed. working perfect so far.

And the heavens opened and the Angels sang,......[/QUOTE]

Took the Gladiator to the dealership and they didn't even try. Gave me the ol' "It's a Jeep thing" comment even though the drivers side was quiet. (Useless).

I've been adjusting, taping and testing for 2 months up and down the highway, then saw this thread.

Thanks for this information, I tested your fix and I have the same issue. I can turn it on and off, so root cause is found.
Ordering the Part #68282864AG now....

Much Appreciated!!!
