I put my 2020 Gladiator (3,500 on odometer) in Reverse, but it would not move. It would, however, move forward in Drive. After re-starting engine 5 times, it finally moved backward in Reverse. This happened to me only once. Took it to Jeep dealer service department - since they could not replicate the issue, they concluded there was not a problem they could address and told me to pick up my vehicle.
I called Jeep Cares and asked if they would have a Jeep engineer call the Jeep service department and advice them on the proper fix for this. They declined, saying that the dealer has standard procedures to follow in diagnosing problems.
Has anyone had this "reverse" problem and how was it fixed? I've also had other problems: (1) Engine light came on at 600 miles with code po200 [random cylinder misfires] - problem never resolved (2) frequently the auto engine stop doesn't work [a good thing] (3) the computer display screen went dark while I had problems with Reverse
