I'm not sure how long it sat on the lot. I have a feeling quite a while. So based on what you're saying I probably need new batteries or something else is wrong. Sounds like 14.6 is not a normal operating voltage?
What the voltage reading is while it's running will vary from 12.6 to 15.0 depending on the ambient temperature and state of charge of the batteries, the speed you are moving, the load on the engine, temperature of the batteries and many other factors. So - "it depends".

Don't jump to any conclusions about anything at all. Could be they just need a good CHARGING. And you driving it for a few minutes won't do that. A good battery charger that works on AGM batteries will take care of batteries that need to be fully charged.

You are looking for a quick fix on a modern complex vehicle - and you just can't do that.

14.6 is common, but not really normal for batteries in good condition. It will usually start out there and then slowly drop. If it never drops, even after a long trip, that is not a good sign.
interesting enough - I had the batteries on my JT disconnected for dash work on Friday - probably over an hour, fully disconnected and grounds isolated. PLENTY long enough for the IBS to reset.
And - it hasn't been under 14.2 since last fall.
Makes me wonder......... ESS works great, but I have to wonder a bit. Not going to worry about it as after a week and a half to 2 weeks, it will be the dealer's thing to deal with.
If I was keeping it, I'd connect JSCAN and check out the IBS readings, battery health and so on in the BCM.

The dealership was having a problem diagnosing. They could not recreate the issue I've been having. They basically told me to beat feet. Then lo and behold when the tech went to pull the vehicle out, bam! Flashing shifting screen and engine light came on. He couldn't get the Jeep into gear. Stuck in Park. He walked away from it in reverse. Then he showed me a few possible remedies which included replacing the transmission. I now have another appointment for them to take a deep look into the issue. 🫤

I had the same issue on mine except at 47000 miles. First they replaced the clutch then it full on went out on me a week later. They are going to replace the transmission still waiting until that happens. It’s been with them a month already 🙄

Not really pressing now, but you need a better OBD tool that can read all codes and not just P codes. This will help you in the future diagnosing issues that pop up .

Hi @Jessup,

We would be happy to connect you with a case manager for extra support alongside the dealership. Please send our team a private message with your VIN.

I've had this happen twice now in my 2025, once way out in the bush, thought I was walking home, then again a couple days ago, at an intersection where I thought I was going to be that guy getting laughed at for his broken down Jeep.... anyway both times it occurred it was cold windy snowy weather. All kinds of lights on the dash lit up then go away along with a check engine light that goes away within 20 miles. I regularly see my voltage at 14.2 - 14.7. The Jeep also shut itself off. The Jeep has about 5000 miles on it now.

OP, what ended up resolving your issue?

That's charging system voltage - not battery health or voltage. If it is always above 14 it may mean low battery voltage

As to the problem - there's been a lot of issues with CANbus star connectors, as well as connectors in the engine bay area. Check the connections at the battery - there have been multiple reports of people being able to grab the cable clamp at the battery post and move it.......... that causes all sorts of issues. They aren't the best connectors in the world.

Month later, sorry. Have you resolved your lit up dash, auto park, problem?

It hasn’t happened again since my last post. I’ve had the same conditions many times since so I’m really not sure what caused it.

I’ve seen this was an outcome for a few but with no repeat issues in a month I am going to wait and see. I got a partial video of the 1st event.
If my dealership stops rubbing my privates with sand paper might be trading this one in..

If you want to throw cheap part at it, I replaced the green can bus behind the glove box last summer. I had same symptoms, no issues since replacement.
