Walmart has had some pretty good 3 pack deals of late on Mobil stuff. Picked up 3ea 3 packs of 5W-40 recently for similar pricing.

Deal still worked for me at 06:30 MT. Picked up two orders, so yeah, really feels like a lifetime supply of 5W-30. I use it in my generators and have friends that have cars that need it. Thanks!

I can see the appeal but personally do not. I've seen this debated in other threads, but have seen that some do. Apart from fuel efficiency, I could see you catching some grief for any related warranty claims.

The Mobil-1 OW-20 Extended Performance (not high mileage) seems like a nice bit of insurance to use in harsh conditions but change with whatever you regard as the normal interval. I have been using that since very early on in my Gladiator. I'm a Mobil-1 fan...

Not yet — headed to my local Walmart soon. I told a friend and his order was directed to Advance Auto (and couldn’t change it).

Theoretically, my two orders are ready for “curbside pickup after 10:00 AM” at Walmart. I paid for four six-packs…

I have a feeling when he gets to Advanced they will only try and give him one. Apparently that is how the order comes through. I called Walmart, they did nothing for me.

I half way suspected Advance Auto orders would be a bust. I think once the Walmart stock and fulfillment is out of stock, the listing defaults to a third party one and it becomes basically a listing mistake that Advance Auto is not going to be a party too. Blame lays with Walmart in my opinion.
