Your thoughts on towing this

This past August I towed a 3950lb trailer with my '21 JTRD from Texas up to Ouray and Silverton then back. Didn't have any issues pulling in the triple digit heat of Texas and New Mexico, nor maintaining normal speed up the mountains of Colorado (I drive 60-65mph when towing). Yes, I did have to keep my eye on oil temps, but rarely was it necessary to back off below 60mph.

I used to tow it on 33’s with the 4.10s and it performed about the same. I’m wondering what’s different about our setups, other than the couple hundred more pounds of your trailer.

Yeah it is odd, but I am going to fix it with a 3/4 ton (good used) tow vehicle
