damn a lot of that went way above my head. I have never really messed around with computers in cars before. all my hot rodding has been done in pre 1990s vehicles that I didn't need to do any of that I played with the distributor or modified the carburetor to get the results I wanted. even though I am pretty young I've always preferred working on the classics over modern vehicles. now that decision has come to bite me in the ass as I have no idea what anyone is saying lol

Same here. Mechanical part doesn't intimidate me a bit, its the damn tuning!
I do a lot of my own work on the corvettes I've owned, but I leave all the tuning to the shops.

This is easier to tune....... but it's getting kind of tired. Time to drop it out and rebuild.

Jeep Gladiator zero maintenance supercharger? engine-front

I still wish I had the $$$$ to turn Dave loose with my JT - just say "here it is, do it".
Would be cool if he could tune the programming in the PCM of my 4.0 as well

I have the equipment for the 4.0 but the batteries are all suffering, the screen glitches on the old laptop, and you have to desolder chips and burn a new one.

Oh it would be a hoot, to actually outfit it with a newer fueling controller. I really like doing that stuff. Here is a 91 pontiac firebird GTA. Built the engine and outfitted it with a microsquirt controller when they first came out.

Is that a Buick Small block 350? that's the only thing that I know of that has that angled front distributor.

It's an AMC 360 like used in Jeeps, etc.
AMC engines all shared the same outward design for all of their V8s 1967 and later.
