About …time! What a worthless pos.

I hope the new ceo will understand the American market and give its clients ( past and current) what they have been asking for…

The man was an empty suit. He was always getting caught by surprise and took responsibility for nothing.

Wonder how many millions it took to get him to sign that resignation letter.

FIAT heir John Elkann will be in charge until a replacement is found.

Hallelujah! Let’s hope they can find someone good to undo all the damage. I assume this means he won’t be getting the seat on the board as was the plan.

They definitely need to bring in a “car guy” not a bookworm. Someone that can build excitement around new vehicles, giving the consumer what they want instead of shoving a product down their throat that he “thinks” they need.

Nothing will change.

Says it right in the short article. " Together we will ensure the continued deployment of the Company’s strategy in the long-term interests of Stellantis and all of its stakeholders."

Nothing about the interests of any consumer group.

Better: Let an engineer/designer run the show instead of these ivory tower MBA types. Give the consumer what they want and not design by bean counter.

The best CEO Boeing and Ford ever had in the modern era was Allan Mulllaly. Take a cue from that.

His lack of vision, indecisiveness, and conservatism led to massive missed opportunities with educated consumers and could have taken down the Jeep brand. Finally an opportunity for a progressive leader who is willing to embrace the now and look to the future and leave those grandma designs and fuels in the past where they belong.

Agreed…..

Big corporate companies and their ‘execs’ don’t have a clue about what the consumers want. Execs just look at the bottom line and profit margins.
Doesn’t matter what company … they’re all the same.

We call this the "free market".

Joke is on those who thump that term around thinking it means they get whatever they want.

The incompetence with which Stellantis, under Tavares's leadership, has damaged its North America business defies logic.

CDJR remain Stellantis's biggest source of global profits, yet Tavares has continually treated Auburn Hills like the red headed step child.

Let's hope this change in leadership marks a turn in CDJR's trajectory.
