That a stripped down Sport, Sport S, or Willys + a new Civic, Maverick, etc is a way better use of your $62 k than a loaded Rubicon or Mojave for 98% of Jeep owners.

The one ad almost got me into buying a Porsche 718 GT4 RS, or a 911 GT3 RS.
And that`s bad how.....?
Post puberty love of hp and handling, I dated her once.... or 12 times.

Already have a 700hp mistress. Wifey says I spend more on the mistress than I do her.

Buying a Jeep does not enter you into an exclusive club by default. You've earned nothing and it's not exclusive there are hundreds of thousands of Jeep owners. This does not make you special. The same is true to Harley Davidson owners.
Can't tell you the bad looks i'd get from the big twin owners on my iron 883 - the old timers loved my sportster no matter what they were on - the new fair weather riders really dogged on it - even though my sportster was faster, handled better and had more miles on it when i sold it (about 20k miles) then any of those big twin riders would ever put on any bike they rode in their lifetime lol. It was fun outrunning 114ci hopped up big twins in my 1250 upgraded iron 883.

Jeeps look dumb if the top isn't the same color as the body.
Maybe its me - but growing up hard tops wasn't even really a thing on Jeeps - most jeeps had soft tops, and fabric doors/windows - it wasn't until the later TJ years you started seeing hardtops become a thing... anyone remmember this ? Also XJ's and ZJ's were looked down upon by the old timers - but MAN did they put in work. I still highly respect the old XJ's and ZJ's (WJ's too - but those didn't come till later).

Yup. Got the same feeling years ago on my first Dyna when around the Bagger crowd. That is until I provoked my Screamin' Eagle II set up with the lighter weight. All I could see was triple headlights in my mirrors. What fun.
