Got real tired of rock chips on a brand new and expensive vehicle and wont be able to get rock hard sliders before winter. These seem like a good product and removable so I dont break them in a month. Lol. Well see how they hold up. The rears have too much plastic though. They could have, IMO, removed one of the plastic brackets and it would work just fine.

Easy install. But it will interfere slightly with either a sway brace or anti-rock.

It would be cool if they molded rear plastics to remove the need for all the nuts and bolts. I get why they did it. But doesnt look super great. Function over form. It will do good to protect the paint

Quick note, you only have to cut the red part in front of the lock. Makes it clean and still easy to get the key in there. Perk for me is there is still a spot to put pre-runner lights if I want to.

Yeah, I feel like they really cheesed out on that one. Shouldn't have been too hard to either make a new mold for JT, or sell a lock only model for a discount.

Almost forgot to mention, dry fit all the rivets before you set them. It is some pretty tight tolerance and if you set them one at a time, the last one may not line up. Saw that with another member.

Picked up my Mojave, it just had its 8-speed transmission replaced. Over four weeks ago without warning the trans just stopped working, shifter lights flashing - multiple codes. Internal failure.
tech found burnt oil and metal pieces when they drained the trans fluid. Luckily it got covered under warranty, but this would have been a big ticket repair if not. Thankfully I have stock wheels/tires so there was no pushback.
right now I've done just about 50 miles on it, I'm super sensitive when driving it listening to noises, how it up shifts and down shifts etc. it's going to take a while for me to have confidence that it's been fixed ok, so just short trips for now.

Got the spacers added in the front that were missed in the initial install. Now it sits where I want it. Now it won't look like a funny car at track day once I get the bumper/winch installed.

Also had Midland MXT275 plus various install bits and bobs show up on the front porch today. Plan to install it in the next couple of days. Just in time to have some alone miles on Bowman Lake RD as my maiden offroad trek.

Gotta find some good scenery for the "Where did you WHEEL you gladiator today" post.

Easy install but installed the expedition essentials traction board mount. Also finished up the wiring of my Falcon ADAPT system. Took the truck for a drive and I am just in love with the AUTO function. Nice to be able to have the comfort in soft mode yet still able to drive the windy mountain roads with the suspension stiffening around curves. That and the suspension firming up when braking preventing nose dive.
