Threw on a front bumper with a warn winch, just gotta get the rear bumper in and she’s done……Until I get bored next month?

I just ordered it, how was the install on it? Fairly simple? I tried looking up videos couldn't find anything. The instructions seem straight forward, but who knows. Just wondering on your experience, for the front and rear.

Continuing the quest of removing the red trim from the Glad and cleaning the look up. Cause I don't like it. The red tow hooks stay, however.

I'm doing similar, removing all the red as well, as I want to go with a blue/white/gray/black coloring. What did you use to remove those letters, and any suggestions for problems you encountered that you would advise on how to avoid? Also, where did you get the Rubicon stickers for the hood, and please post pics of how things look when done.

I removed the rear letters by using some fishing line and doing it in the sun so it was a bit softer. Same tips apply for debadging anything: You can use a heat gun to soften up the tape/glue a bit if you want. Try to avoid prying too much so the opposite side of the letter doesn't dig into the paint. Additionally with the letters on the tailgate in particular, they're pretty flexible, so you'll want to avoid bending them any more than necessary. There are guide pins behind the J and P on the tail gate, so you'll have to work around them with your fishing line or whatever tool you choose. Goo Gone works well for removing any residual glue/adhesive. The tail gate letters aren't too bad but the adhesive they use on the side letters is an absolute bitch. I had to polish the fenders afterward to remove the swirl marks caused by removing the adhesive. I recommend to reapply letters using 3M VHB. And I reaffixed the two letter halves after paint with some Loctite superglue.

Hood decals are from Pixel Decals. I've ordered decals from him probably 8x over the last several years, he does great work. Apply with the wet method and squeegee. Don't sweat any little bubbles you might miss, they'll disappear with sun and time. Look up the "hinge method" for applying the decals if you're new to that sort of thing. Makes it much easier than eyeballing it.

Check the following post for some more pictures:

Finished the grey/black badge conversion on the Rubicon. Very satisfied.
Excuse the repeat photos but I just wanted to show how they play together, style-wise.

Did you go through the windshield or the grommet in the firewall?
Installed my new Voswitch JL400 - what a mess the old wiring was. I have LED roof light bar, LED hood lights, LED bumper lights and LED pods in the rear bumper (I’ll finish the new wiring on those tomorrow). It was like this when I bought it but the wiring and 4 separate switches were all boogered up. Here’s the pile of wires, relays, etc I removed. And, the new, clean setup.

Received and installed my Co2 tank for airing up with my speedflate setup. Had to make a quick adapter plate to attach it to the trail rails. I’m quite happy with the result.

No I didn’t want to remove my light bar bracket - I ran it through the side cowl cover, under a piece of trim below the grab handle and under the grab handle trim. It’s pretty clean.

Took a new approach for the actual switch wires and gave myself some pigtails. Will use blade terminals to actually connect, but this way it’s easier to hook up as I make progress since it’s basically impossible to feed in one wire at a time.

Drove mine today for first time after Pedal Commander install. I bought it used and it was already set on City +1 so I left it there. Sure makes a difference with the EcoDiesel! I’m liking it.

Nothing riveting, but was a fun way to spend the afternoon installing this warn winch and bumper.

Good choice on the Cascadia plate flip. I love mine.

Maybe this is more of a "for" than a "to", as it was a part I made to go in the truck - well, not in the truck, ok, yeah, it's inside the truck, but in the phone holder. Oh, here's the pic, you'll see.
I didn't want to drill into the dash any place to hang the plow hand-held controller, didn't like tossing it across the cup holders. It will be unplugged and out of the truck 99% of the time, but when I need it connected and in the truck, I wanted a place it could reside out of the way, but still handy.
So I made an acrylic piece to attach the plow controller to that will go into my dash mounted phone holder and I can slip the plow controller where I might have a phone (although I don't have a phone in the holder most of the time)

Clip this into the phone holder, slide the controller into the black holder, there ya go.
