Took a 140mile round trip yesterday in the JTRD yesterday and nothing happened. No de-rating, no catastrophic oil leaks, no fuel pump implosions. Nothing But tons of torque. For reference, 2021 rubicon on 35s with roughly 18k on the clock.

(sorry, I don’t mean to make light of those that are having issues, but need to speak up for all of us who aren’t.)

Mine has been much better this year as well, but temps were much lower than normal for a summer.

She did derate to 40mph last weekend towing my YJ up Hwy 50 to the Rubicon Trail, but it was 91° in a construction zone so I didn't get ran over.

Less than 1k before hitting 30k, do I get the extended warranty, yes or no. Have had plenty of issues with this truck, more than ANY other vehicle I have ever owned, a/c compressor failed, catalytic converter replacement, main battery, rear glass leak, etc, etc . Yet I still look at aftermarket parts, just bought a new front bumper and Warn winch. This guy is just fine to drive.

Also drove about 700 miles to, from and around the Outer Banks over the past weekend with no issues. Would be nice to get 250k out of this engine like my 2000 Cummins 5.9.

Let’s add more gasoline into fire… how many members on this forum with diesel clocking 100k miles plus without issues?
