Super beefy. Do the ball joints at the same time and axles too if you can. I feel much better about my 37s and wheeling now.
thanks, I will do the ball joints knuckles and axles all at the same time. I just finished my gears, lockers, lift, 37's and winch install. Gotta save up another $ or two. :)

Lockers and axles are next on my list. Could not and would not wheel on 37s with stock ball joints and knuckles. Buddy of mine saw this poor fellow. Figure I would rather do the work to prevent this stuff.

that's why I'm upgrading is to prevent that ^ I've seen way to many busted rigs on the trails to not do needed upgrades before wanted upgrades.

Frankly... probably cost more to recover and repair than it does to overbuild. I'd rather cry once up front than risk an incident on a trail with my kids in the Jeep.

Haha "69". Man that color is super unique on a mojave. I'm totally digging it. Now let's see pics of it next to your Mojito JLRU!
I thought y'all would appreciate my childish humor

Just in the garage fucking shit up

Umm, looks like the original reached 99 pages and was closed for more replies. So keep posting here!

I had tint done to front 2 windows, bug deflector installed, wayout style wrap installed, tires cleaned. 303 applied to tonneau cover.

EDIT: forgot to mention possibly the most important mod, ceramic coated grille, grille guard, and double ceramic coated windshield. FU bugs! Try sticking to all my ceramic now..... Stupid bugs.

Well picked up my 23 JTR Tuesday at Gupton, so far did:
Quadratec Rubicon wheels w/ Mickey Thompson Baja Boss ATs 35x12.5 17 (special thanks to @Discount Tire for the assistance on these tires)

Distinction applied painted grill insert, hood vents and wiper cowl

Weathertech headlight protectant film

Mopar wipers

de-badged except tailgate stupid placement holes so I painted the grey part black

installed my overland bound badges in place of the trail rated badge and antenna mount due to the pressing in the fenders

installed seat jackers. I love them.

then for the grand finally I pulled out the entire dash got the air bag removed went to install it in my leather dash………and it’s a RHD passenger panel I had never really looked at it the drivers side is the correct LHD but passenger side in incorrect so I put it all back together

Got its first free oil change service done at 5,026 miles and finally got the speedometer recalibrated dealership properly.

I had a Tazer Lite for the most of those miles, but really do not care to put it back in. I found it to not be overly useful for me and did not bother to have the Jeep specialty shop install the AEV ProCal Snap either, when lifted.

Does anyone want to buy either of those?!? IDK.

Nice looking ride.
Could you tell me what sliders and mudflaps you have? And what do you think about them?
Thanks.

Thank you and yes…

White Knuckle Offroad rock sliders with full top plates and they are Line-X’d. Big fan of them. Had them on a previous Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro and would have chosen them for a prior Tundra, but decided on All-Pro Offroad, before realizing I would have. They are frame mounted and can be for with or without Rubicon Rails. Without does not hide the pinch seam and additional clearance is slight. However… I am not a rock crawler, but only a sandy trail cruiser and they are some seriously badass/excessive even “side steps.” Hah!

Rockblokz mud flaps. I opted for size ORIGINAL front and rear. I think they look fantastically proportionate and do their job great. The top plates of the sliders pick up the “slack,” which was the plan. Pictures below are from a freshly chloride applied dirt road (literally pulled over for the tanker truck) and bone stock Mojave tires/wheels, lift, etc.

If I had to put some numbers to the setup… The Rockblokz protect from about 95% of a muddy dirt road and the sliders get the other 5%.

I could not be more happy with said setup and would not do anything any different.

Putting together a dual flag setup for a Veterans Day event in a couple weeks. A friend of mine makes the hitch mounts, and I got the pipe from Home Depot. I’ll post again when it’s done. Needs hardware, paint and flags. (U.S. and Army)
