One other gem I discovered during the swap was that when the fairlead was installed with the winch, they bolted it straight to the bumper BEFORE putting the bumper on. This put two large grade 8.8 M12 nuts between the steel bumper skin and the stout winch plate. This kept the bumper from seating properly against the winch mount by about 3/8 of an inch. Got some new longer bolts, new stainless washers and bolts from Lowe’s. Now the gap issue with lower skid plate is solved. Like magic.

Super easy as long as you follow the instructions, I watched the videos also.
Changed the sequence from 3x lock to lock unlock lock cause I've been known to hit the lock several times in a row. Especially when I've started walking away and the wife asks if I locked the rig.
Now I just need heated seats, oh and the heated steering wheel. Had all that in my Wrangler, until the wife glommed onto it. Oh well, now I have the Gladiator, which I really wanted when we got the Wrangler.
Yes, I know, first world problems, it's pretty rough. If I could just figure out how to not work and still pay for all the goodies I want for my Jeep.

There are eight of these assembly nuts. They are pressed on at the factory and have to be cut off. And frankly I’d like to have had eight to put back in since I think it would make alignment much easier when putting the bumper back on.

I did not have these on my mojave when I swapped bumpers. Probably a covid shortage. LOL

Katzkin offers heated and ventilated seat options if you look into replacing the seat upholstery. Not sure what heat seat options alone exist if any.
