Appreciate the quick response, I was looking on their old site it seems. Any details on how they mount? Frame, Body bolts, the oem Rubicon bolts, pinch seam, etc? Any drilling? Really interested in these as I love the flat style with protection. Rockhard is coming out with there's supposedly but so is summer ?. Thanks in advanced.

It took me awhile to find the link and I knew what I was looking for. Only reason I knew about them was because they were on another Jeep at the shop that built mine. They’ve held up well to abuse, mount up high and were a good price point compared to some of the other options I looked at. They are local company so no shipping cost played a big role in the price difference. My shop mounted them up and it’s been snowing a lot here so I haven’t gotten under the Jeep to look yet. I’ll take a look tomorrow and get back to you.

I upgraded my HAM radio antenna.

what antenna did you go with. Also, were you able to get "body/aluminum" to allen screw contact between your hood and antenna mount ? I am running the Midland MXTA26 and I tried using a Comet hood mount, but underneath the hood where the allen screws are supposed to make contact with the aluminum hood, there is a large bead that seals the layers of the hood. My allen head screw come in contact with this hard ?glue?, so they do not contact the aluminum of the hood. So I basically do not get a good ground plane.. so i am currently using a cowl mount, works but could be better..... nice job !

Started with the small stuff first. Made a big purchase for Christmas from LB Designworks. I have the hood graphic with 1941 to install, and the tailgate graphic to do last. I wish these were one layer instead of 3, gives me one chance of screwing it up instead of multiple chances!

I’m running a Diamond Super Gainer K400 mount and NR770HAB antenna. The mount fits like a glove over the hood and set screws are about a quarter inch long. I’ve got them tightened down about an 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch inch and backed them out to check for paint penetration and I’ve got metal to metal contact. I tried to avoid the sealant and the K400 set screws miss it by a few millimeters. The antenna is internally grounded and doesn’t require a ground plane but I’m not buying it…lol. I went with this antenna as it’s the electrically longest available tuned for UHF/VHF and folds in the middle.

It looks like it's mounted directly to the frame as well as the oem rubicon bolts. It's pretty dark in the parking garage and I don't carry a flashlight. I'll get you some more info from my shop if you have interest in them.

Thanks, I will probably look at getting a larger hood mount or try and find longer set screws..... the cowl mount works ok and does pretty good with stubby ghost antennas, but trans/rec would be better mounted to the hood...... I m sure most any setup will work on the trail when close.... but I want to be able to reach out in case of an emergency....

Installed my sunrider soft top - my freedom panels may never go back on! Also added a wireless front camera, looking forward to seeing how well it works when pulling the Gladiator into my garage.
The Sunrider top is absolutely the best upgrade you can do to the Jeep IMO. I love mine! Open or close the top in 3 seconds. Best item I ever bought for my JT. Pricey, but worth it.

I didn’t get it until I got one. Totally agree.

Yes, the garage is a mess, it’s cold and rainy outside and I’m doing stickers ? still have the Stars and Stripes on the hood and tailgate to put on, plus the corners for the rear which will require removing the lights. I’ll save those for next week. Highly recommend a professional do this stuff, it might look good on camera but I suck at this!
