People Work?
Installed the @Metalcloak sector shaft brace.

Necessary:
42 mm socket (1-11/16)
21 mm socket and wrench
5/16 hex (8 mm works too)
3/16 hex
11/16" drill bit
3/4" (19 mm) wrench and socket
Red Loctite

Nice to have:
Center punch
Step bit with 11/16" step
6 inch drill driver extension
Powerful cordless impact wrench
Long smaller bit to get started straight and center
Silver sharpie
6" & 12" 1/2 drive impact extensions
Gloves
Band-Aids

Notes:
Overall a pretty easy task.
I used the impact and an open end to seat the nutserts. Didn't have a good bracing grip on the wrench and paid the price.
Not in the instructions, but I applied some red Loctite to all fasteners, not just the pitman nut.
I took my time and was careful and thorough.
About an hour.

Initial Review:
Impressed.
My steering was already very good and with no issues, but the brace certainly tightened things up even more and notably.

Interestingly, my steering wheel was properly centered before the install, but after the install it was a good 8-10 degrees left, so I recentered it. I'll assume that the brace did that somehow.

Now that is a cool sector shaft brace. Im curious if you notice any difference other than piece of mind whole off road.

Shit, I need to renew my registration soon ?
did you end up needing to use a obd reader to code the jt for LEDs? I have a set of those (or similar ones) set aside to go on my wifes JLU when we get warmer weather.

I didn’t actually. I completely forgot to go into JSCAN and update the settings. I haven’t noticed any flickering so far though.

I do IT stuff so I can buy Jeep stuff.
Shout out to Alex @RealTruck who gave me a great price on a BakFlip x4s and front and rear WeatherTech mud flaps ... everything went on the truck today with one small issue. Bakflip didn't include the four lock nuts needed to fasten the roll-up section of the cover to the side rails!! - A quick trip to the hardware store and $3.17 later I was able to finish the install. As they say "pics or it didn't happen" ......

Started putting together my huge list of goodies to track the process and also aid in placing priorities based on cost and best order of install.

Am I really the only one who does this? I bet folks would be surprised how much things actually cost if they did the same.

spreadsheet attached at bottom

Oh for sure, I do agree but it does help place priorities on what is more important/useful to get things in a good order.

Although I'm doing basically the same to pre-plan my basement electrical panel for house re-wiring

Some people make lists, some don't. Different methods for different folk. They definitely have a place, also if you go to sell privately, Blamo! Its all there!

Going down to studs, service upgrade, or just a panel swap? Or we talking sub panel?
