I don't own one yet but I was looking through the 2023 Gladiator owner's manual and it says for vehicles equipped with rear only Tru-Lok that it will only activate in 4H, versus those with front and rear Tru-Lok that will activate only in 4L. Mojave has rear only so does this mean it won't lock in 4L?

No. They’re saying it can ALSO be locked in 4H if settings are correct.

That makes more sense, for sure. Whoever wrote/edited the manual should be more careful next time because it is not so clear.

It's just poorly written.

If you have Front/Rear or just Rear, you can lock them in 4L, but you can also lock only the rear in 4H.

I don't believe the '20 model Rubicons can lock the rear in 4 Hi. I think this was a change to the programming in the '21 model Rubicons. I'll give it another try when I get home tonight using the off-road+, traction control button sequence.

I believe that’s accurate.

OEM I didn't realize Rubicon has it now as well, but Mojave always did. The idea was more stability at high speed on sand (since we all spend a lot of time in the desert. :) )
