The price will be insane.
Me too, I just dropped my Willys off due to what they are telling me is a turbo seal leak....I think its the oil return, but they want to put a whole new turbo and all the surrounding parts on it...so have at itThey finally fixed what I felt was holding the Willys back, rear-lockers! Now it feels like a proper "budget" Rubicon!
The 12.3 inch radio is a nice upgrade, even the 7 inch feels a bit small when you get into other vehicles.
I feel it's kind of funny seeing this announcement on the same day I dropped the JT off at the dealer to look into/warranty an oil leak. Definitely keeping an eye out to see what transfers over to the JT.
It is probably the same ones who had JK's and complained when the JL's first came out. 99% of them will cup their junk and buy one eventually to wait for the next change to snivel about.lol i love the difference between this forum and the JL forum. Most people here are very excited for the changes and hope to see them come to the Gladiator.
On the JL forum it's a good 50% complaints, many about false or exaggerated claims.
The oil gets to those bearings, they wouldnt live long if not. My 3/4 ton and 1 ton have floaters and they have oil from the differential come out to themThat makes sense based on the power seats I've seen in other vehicles. If the RSE power steps and other such devices can run after being in water, so can any seat that's designed to be water proof to a certain degree.
They over-simplified that............ But whatever.
I wonder what the maintenance interval will be for those rear hubs since they won't be lubed by the differential lube. It's going to be more like the front hubs have been in 4 wheel drive vehicles for decades.
They'll be strong for sure, and take more of a beating with two bearings and basically no "leverage" on the axle, only twisting forces.
I think we can all agree it is 10k times better than angry eyes though...That full float rear axle is pretty wild. A locker on the willys too (vs the LSD), cool!
Not a fan of the new grill, or the giant screen though.
Yup, oil passages should be in thereThe oil gets to those bearings, they wouldnt live long if not. My 3/4 ton and 1 ton have floaters and they have oil from the differential come out to them
Heck, I'd say running with no grill is better than angry eyesI think we can all agree it is 10k times better than angry eyes though...

Before reading this I was thinking that I really wish I liked the new Grill. I want to like the new Grill. Your mere mention of angry eyes (not mentioned but I also thought of Grumper) and suddenly my brain thought NEW GRILL IS AWESOME.I think we can all agree it is 10k times better than angry eyes though...
I was going to suggest then that they must be like 3/4 ton trucks I've had.The oil gets to those bearings, they wouldnt live long if not. My 3/4 ton and 1 ton have floaters and they have oil from the differential come out to them
