just wait till you get the bill for replacing those batteries plus im sure they'll tack on a nice disposal fee
I won't care, there is approximately 0% chance I will keep it beyond the 10 years that the warranty will last and even less beyond the most likely 12-15 year useful span of the batteries. Even if I did the current price is around 10-12k and no third party so assuming it ends up like a Prius probably 4-5k or less by that point.

If I can't afford 4-500 a year for V8 power then I probably shouldn't be in a jeep anyways as my fuel bill in a V6 will be about 400+ bucks more a year anyways.

Its already been stated 4xe is coming to the gladiator by my2025. Now is it coming my2024 I dont personally think so, but maybe it also looks like gladiators will be a late 2024 release so its possible.

I'd expect to see the i6 on the JL/JT successor as they are very production constrained (i believe the factory announcement on it said something like only 250K a year) on it and it will need to go to the legacy v8's like the grand wagoneer, charger/challenger replacement, and ram before it shows up in the jeeps.
More comfortable seats would be great and nice if they would be a retrofit for older JT.

There's part of the problem.
I also don't care where my ice cars are in 10-15 years because I don't keep them that long either. Every 5-6 years or so I trade in. So if they need a new transmission, or engine, or other expensive service after 150-200k miles it's not something I worry about

In 10-15 years so much will change between then and now in terms of how we treat phevs and evs that the idea that we can use what happens today to judge what will happen tomorrow is preposterous. But hypothetically if we want to apply what we do today, most hybrid batteries can be replaced with reman'd packs for under 6k.

You said you don't care what happens after 10 years with the batteries because you're not keeping it for the long run.

I would imagine in 10 years the small battery needed for the PHEV operation of a 4xe will be even lower in cost as technology progresses. Full EV battery replacement is a whole different animal and one that needs a solution.

Also, if I had to deal with the hassle of buying a new car every 5-6 years I'd probably go crazy ?

Wouldn’t this be a 2025? I thought the Gladiator was a year behind the Wrangler?

Also, I like all the changes and hoping for the diesel to continue and the addition of a 4xe model and maybe the straight 6.

Talked to a Jeep Service Manager yesterday and his thoughts were no new 6cyl turbo for the JT. Suggested more likely to get the 2.0 with an added battery system (EV, Hybrid,????).

I don't like the new grill so don't care about the exterior... I'm just really salty about that sweet infotainment monitor. I wonder if it would fit the 2023???

I don’t like the grill, or the oversized screen in the center, so, for once, I’m not jealous of the refresh. I usually am.

I’m not a fan of the black grill I’m an all one color person. I’m not a fan of the body one color and fenders or top being black Looks like 2024 I’ll go Wangler instead. Oh well.
