Hi All - Hoping to get some help.

Has anyone put a pair of 35" Nitto LT315/70R17 (217530) on stock 17x7.5 wheels?

Approved Rim Width Range Nitto LT315/70R17: 8.0 - 10.5

I haven't personally, but my buddy is on his 5th or 6th Jeep (three JK's and two JT's) and he has ran 315/70R17 on factory 17x7.5" wheels with no issues on all of them. Actually, two of them he had 37x12.50s on the stock wheels as well. Additionally, all were used off road, too. They were all BFG tires, but they had the same wheel requirements (8+ inch wheel width).

It will be fine. May need to tweak air pressure slightly to account for the tire being lightly squished.

People do, as you see, but the big chain tire shops usually will not install them. You will probably also need wheel spacers I would imagine. Also, it might wear the center of the tire more unless you drop the pressure...at least mine did on a JK I did that with.

But, it can be done and many are happy with it.
