I'm probably just not understanding how these seat jackers work, but as someone who is 6'4 i don't get how they won't put my head through the ceiling..
Seat Jackers raise the front, seat slammers lower the rear. I'm 6'5" and I ordered the 2" seat slammer kit which also comes with seat jackers to get the nice angle. Well worth the money!!

Seat jackers! Changes the angle of the dangle! I felt like I was falling out of my seat before I tried them and my back would kill me after a day of cruising the green and white mountains of VT and NH. No more! Now I just drove 5000 miles in the last week all over New England on vacation. Jeep fully naked I felt way more planted and comfortable driving. Plus they helped fit my amplified subwoofer easier under the drivers seat.

Gotcha thanks. Being a lease not too sure how FCA would appreciate me chopping my seat. Guess my ass cheeks will suffer until I make a more permanent decision

If it can be returned to factory condition before giving it back, they don’t really care about modifications.

Or if you plan to buy it at the end like the wife's wrangler then it also doesn't matter.

I doubt the jabroni that does the return inspection would even notice. But on the other hand, i've never leased so i'm not sure how stringent that process is.

Not if they do the seat slammers. Those require cutting of the factory seat brackets.

Since I hemorrhage money into my 2020 Gladiator Overland…. Trying to correct Jeep’s piss poor design and crap China parts…

I need to fix the comfort of the seats.
I tried the 1.25” front mounts… way too much for me.

Just replaced with .75”… DesertDoesIt offered to take back the 1.25”… that’s a top notch company…

Anyway, better but there’s still something that is awkward. Cushion to firm and now actually supporting my legs???

I do believe a different foam on the seat bottom would be helpful.

So, the Seat Slammers… lift the front and drop the back??? Interesting. I believe someone commented that was the ultimate in adjustability resulting in additional comfort.

I’d like to hear more. I like the JT but have reached an age where I would like a little more comfortable seat.

I just went through this and can finally say I got my seat dialed in. I am 6’2” about 225lbs, so I am a bit taller than average and old enough to have “back issues”. I did the seat jackers first and while it helped my legs/knees, I still felt like a gorilla on a tricycle. I was getting pain in my lower back and hips and it was making me think I would have to sell my Gladiator. I decided to go through one last try with the slammers and cut the seat frame. The kit is very easy to work with and unless someone went specifically looking for a modification to the seat frame, they would never notice it. Everything looks factory.
As for the position, it’s given me much more support and plenty of head room, I’m a big fan now and highly recommend them.

For verification.
you had the .75” Jackers and kept them in place.
you then ordered option #1 of the Slammers.

Can you provide detail as to what position the slammers are in?
I envision the front of the seat too high and my butt on the floor.

I’ve only had the .75” Jackers in a few days but I’ll try anything to be more comfortable.
Thanks for the info!

I had the taller version of the jacker, and I was reaching a bit for the pedals after installing option 1 version of the slammers but my back and hip pain was gone. So after talking to the folks that make the kit, I removed the jackers and used the spacers that came with the kit. I put the fat 1/2” and thin 1/4” spacers up front and the remaining thin 1/4” spacers in the rear and it’s great. I even added a dead pedal for good measure.

If anyone is interested in the jackers I removed, they are available. I only ran them maybe 3-4 months.

If memory serves me right, the front is up 1/2 and I have 1 small puck in the rear after cutting the rear frame. I'm 6'3 and it's fine for me. The longest 1 way trip I've taken is 1300 miles and it was fine for me.

One of the most notable changes for me was my right knee would make constant contact with the 4wd shift knob. Now, my knee is well behind it. No more hot spots.

I'm probably the only one but I feel like i need to lift the rear of the seat. I tried homemade jackers to see if they helped and I felt like it made it worse. I'm 6' even, 195 lbs.
