Spoke with my dealership, they said parts are not available. ?

Maybe show them the TSB?
Or they don't want to do the recall work. I'd give them one more chance showing them the notice then switch dealers.

This is the second dealership. ? First one said I could get on the waiting list but there were no parts available.

My truck runs great, I’d prefer to get this fixed before it sends shrapnel through my engine.

There will be a waiting list. At least they didn't deny the recall existing

Dropped the Jeep off and was told it could take more than a week because it’s one of the first ones they’ve done and aren’t proficient at doing it. We’ll see how this goes…

I guess somebody has to be first. Hopefully they are competent regardless.

I was told I was 5th on the list, but it may be months before I'm called. My dealer only has one diesel tech, which is surprising, considering I'm in Texas and the dealership sells Ram trucks also. There's diesel trucks everywhere around here.

Yeah, I am also in Texas and I was number 13 on the list 3 months ago and still am! Dealer says the parts are coming, but then will only be able to do 1 a week. I've been hopeing to get this done before my Gladiator loses the weight, but I can't wait any more. Got the hard parts from EOC and they are screaming at me to install!

I'd taken my truck in late October for both an oil change, and a quick inspection to see if I fell into the serial numbers for the pump change. At that point I was told the truck needed the pump replaced, and that the dealer was only allowed one pump a month. Which meant it could be 6-8 months before I would get a replacement.

Called yesterday, and was told they're now getting one a week, and that I was currently 7th in line. With any luck, that means late January/Early February for the replacement for me.

Dropped mine off this morning, they said they’ve only ever had to do 2 of them for failure since the 3rd ecodiesel came out. Nothing was mentioned about parts shortages or times, they said today would be an inspection and likely a pump ordered. We will see where they end up by the end of today.

They're wasting your time if that's the only reason you went in. They should order the parts before inspection.

Agreed. I was in for the batteries going bad again, so no big deal.

They ordered the parts, he’s guessing 6 months out. ? What a crap show.
