Those are torqued down and have a lot of locktite goobered on them. I had to use an impact with an extension to get them out - but yes, you need the correct tool for the job.

It came that way from the factory, but great tip, thanks.Check the socket you were using. It might have cracked and spread and that let it strip the bolt head. You wouldnāt want it to ruin another bolt in the future.
I have a hand impact screwdriver that would work for your suggestion. Problem is there is very limited space... getting a dremel in there and cutting a clean line would be challenging.Cut a line with a dremel and get a punch in there and turn while you smack with a hammer
Fronts are standard, rears are Etorx on my '20 Rubi.Interesting ... they changed the bolt style. Mine in my 20' is standard. Definitely lock-tited ... I don't recall if these run all the way through the floor boards ... if so you might try heating from the bottom side.
Harbor freight in a pinch.......always a winI bought this little set to do mine.
If you have a Harbor Freight nearby you can get one tomorrow.
E 12 is the correct one.

HF has definitely stepped up their quality on their high-end items. I've been impressed with the Quinn line and I own several Badlands products, they are really nice, especially for the the price of what a mainstream company would charge for the same thing.HF has tools that range from "one-time-use disposable garbage" to "On par with Husky or Hilty". I'm not above shopping there and just bought a Badlands Off Road jack.
Donāt touch the driveshaft bolts with power tools. Patience and hand tools. If you break one, youāll be unhappy. And the bolts are one time use, as they have a seal ring. So Iād have a set on hand before removal.Made me look. Strange, but I'm used to seeing strange looking fasteners. There is another post here just about that. It says t50 will fit. It also says it is stamped with SFT 10.9. Standard F Torx I'm guessing. ?![]()
Their Icon sockets appear to be similar in quality to my Husky or Tekton stuff, and Husky uses old SnapOn tooling.HF has definitely stepped up their quality on their high-end items.
