Speaking of spending money, I have a brand new interior back panel that I bought for this project in the pursuit for clean install and rattle free interior... I think I paid like 80 bucks just to get it shipped. Let us know how your install goes.

If it works, I may move my CVPM there and mount GMRS or CB unit where I have my CVPM on the underseat mount.

So, jimmy07 sent me a shorter harness, and the cvpm is neatly installed behind my glove box.
Everything is working perfectly, so I can confirm this works on Australian models.

Apparently there’s a lot more room in there on the Australian models.
I had my 2 way mounted in there, I removed that, and installed a mounting bracket I fabricated to take the CVPM, then rd installed the 2 way over it, so I can’t really get a photo without pulling it all apart.
Can definitely confirm that that CAN block works though

Another fun fact, in case anyone else in OZ is doing this, the front camera wash hose doesn’t quite reach the correct outlet on the pump, so I switched the hoses around, and therefore didn’t need to reverse the pins on the pump plug.
Works perfectly

LOL. That makes perfect sense... I wonder why the factory had done it such a long way.

So does this mean the previous write up of switching the wire instead of the tubes on the pump was incorrect and from the factory the tubes (not wiring harness) were switched? In other words there are no differing washer pump wiring harnesses from the factory on the diesel? I haven’t been able to locate any differing washer pump wire harness like in the 3.6L write up.
This would be good news as I’ve been waiting to do the pump install on other parts not related to this and it creates a great phase stopping point. If I am understanding this correctly, you can complete the pump install without coding the vehicle for the front trail cam and still have everything function properly as if the camera isn’t there.

What RustyC did in essence is reversing the wire.

I just did not know how the pump exactly worked but from what has been learned, I can see that BCM changes the direction of pump rotation and that determines the fluid to go to different ports. You reversed the ports and left the wiring the same. Previously, wire polarity was reversed but left the outputs as they were.

I say reversing the hose is easier and less invasive option of the two.

A question for RustyC, does it also spray the TrailCam when windshield is sprayed?

Those who did this orthograde, does Trailcam spray command also spray the windshield? And when the windshield is sprayed does it spray the Trailcam?

Wouldn't be possible to reverse hoses on my truck. Cam hose will not reach. Rusty's is different because it's an aussie truck and not laid out like ours.
