I’d love to see pics of a Rubicon with a full 1.5" Overland Plus kit and 35s…
Preferably stock Rubicon wheels and 35x11.50R17.
I’m needy.

I'm atleast 6 months away from being ready to spend money on a lift. But the Clayton 1.5" diesel lift is probably what I'll end up doing.I’d love to see pics of a Rubicon with a full 1.5" Overland Plus kit and 35s…

Thanks ?I can't help with the 1.5" Overland Plus kit and 35x11.50R17s but here is mine with the full 2.5" Overland Plus kit and 35x10.50R17s on OEM 392 JL wheels

The wheels are the same, 17x7.5 +44 offset, as the OEM Rubicons. After installing the lift I was looking for 35x11.5 tires but found a deal too good to pass up on these. Thanks ?
Looks great!
The 392 wheels have a Rubicon offset or the additional 1/4” Mojave offset?
I’m actually planning to do exactly this to my JTR but I’m waiting for a sale as I budgeted the work based on Christmas pricing. If you’re serious we can talk!I was just joking with the guys here that I have been sent pictures of every single combination except that, which is the setup I want pictures of the most
We've had 35s on backorder for a while now, but happy to offer 2 customers or so a discount if they plan on running this combination, in exchange for some high-quality pictures!
How much lift did you get front and rear out of the 2.5"?I can't help with the 1.5" Overland Plus kit and 35x11.50R17s but here is mine with the full 2.5" Overland Plus kit and 35x10.50R17s on OEM 392 JL wheels

3 1/2" in the rear and 3 3/8" in the front. That's after adding about 160 pounds of bumper and winchHow much lift did you get front and rear out of the 2.5"?

I did the 2.5” OL+ with Falcon shocks by myself in my driveway on jacks and stands a couple months back and it took me about 14 hours total spread out over the weekend (not counting time I spent to pre-adjust everything). Can someone tell my why I'm so ignorantly optimistic? What is the biggest pain in the a$$?
How many of you guys had great alignment number right out of the box and who had terrible ones?
This is my first Jeep and I’ve fallen in the love with them because theyre like Legos (but with bigger consequences ?)I did the 2.5” OL+ with Falcon shocks by myself in my driveway on jacks and stands a couple months back and it took me about 14 hours total spread out over the weekend (not counting time I spent to pre-adjust everything).
This was my first lift install and so that may have added to my time, though I’m comfortable working on cars. I had the most difficulty getting the rear springs in (taking the calipers off helped but was still tight) and as you mentioned getting the pinion angle and getting the axles centered (I used ratchet straps and multiple jacks to help). Installing the front bump stops was a pain too, just not much clearance to get the nut in underneath and I’ve got big hands.
I added some skids while I was down there - Clayton FAD skid, Rockhard 4x4 lower control arm and shock skids (had to cut the front passenger LCA skid slightly as made contact with the FAD skid). I also installed Metal Cloak’s rear sway bar end link reinforcement brackets. I wasn’t a fan of the Clayton sway bar end links so went with Rancho’s. Lastly, I added the RockJock carrier bearing spacer. I also spent a bit of extra time making sure everything was correctly torqued once back on its weight and used a torque marker on all the nuts to visibly check periodically.
I have not taken the Jeep for an alignment yet other than basic things I did myself. It drives fantastic and I used Clayton’s measurements for everything to start with subtle adjustments on the fly as needed.
I’m super happy with the Clayton Overland Plus lift and the Falcon adjustable shocks and have already hit up a few trails.
Yea I definitely had my share of cuts, scrapes and a gnarly bruise on my left forearm for 2 weeks (not exactly sure what I did to cause that!).This is my first Jeep and I’ve fallen in the love with them because theyre like Legos (but with bigger consequences ?)
