35s, why did I wait so long

There are a few threads on here with Mojave's with 37's with no lift or regear and they seem happy with them. Some even on the factory wheels as well.

I ran Falken 35's on my Mojave from the 1st week I got it. No problem with power or 8th gear on the highway, I was happy with my fuel consumption. I am picking up a new Mojave (last one was stolen) tomorrow and Cooper AT3 XLT 37x12.5r17's are going on next week! I had wished I went to 37's right away with the last one so this time I'm going for it. The Coopers weigh in around 69lbs.

I was going to do 35s, but knew I would regret it.......so I went right to 37x13.5 when the truck only had 300 miles on it before the lift.

I think I will regear just for towing performance on the 37s, but i wanna wait till my 33s i daily on wear out and then i'll upsize to 35s. I think 4.88 is the max I'll gear to. If it needs more after that I'll just throw a V8 in or something.

I just got my 35" KO2s on my Rubi today. AEV Savegre 2 wheels. They look huge compared to my stock tires. I see no need whatsoever to go bigger. Ride is fantastic, stance is just perfect. Couldn't be happier.

Debating 35s or 37. "37" KO2s in C are very light, something like 2 lbs more than stock Falken MTs.

Anyone with 37" KO2s measure the actual diameter of the tires on the ground. I know 35s are closer to 34, are the 37 more like a 35.5 to 36?

For the BFG KO2s in 37 x12.50 I have my Tazer correction set at 36.5 and the GPS speed and distance match up perfect.

I am planning on going with 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs. Specs have them weighing in at 62lbs. Seems a little lighter than the stock 33' Falkens on my Mojave . USAA discount of 25% makes it a great deal (for those who can get it) plus I like the aggressive look along with being an A/T tire. Can basically get 5 tires installed out the door for just under $1600 all in with rebate.

Got 48k on the Falkens. Starting to wear down but still got some life on them.

How do you get the discount? I have USAA.
