Hi All,

Decided to pick up an H3r Halguard 🧯 since they are having a sale for the 4th. While not optimal for several reasons its going under the backseat. Looking for a way to mount\store in the cab that is not in the way.

They do sell a seat bracket but looks like it is in the way. Anyone use this bracket or have found a good spot they care share?

Thanks!

Not the most elegant solution but I use three heavy duty zip ties (180ft lbs of tensil strength each) along with 3 strong velcro straps from hardware strore that support each zip tie and use the mount that came with the H3R. I have one on each side. Its worked on dozens of trips/trails and anyone can get to them quickly.

Element E50 or E100 fire extinguisher is the way to go IMO. Small and efficient.

I use a bartact holder on a molle panel just inside the bed on the driver side. Open the tailgate and it's right there within easy reach. If I'm in a situation where it's needed I figure the extra 5' of walking won't make a difference, plus I don't have to worry about projectiles in the cab for the 99.99% of time it's not getting used for fumbling around under the seat trying to get it.

I opted with the H3R after watching this.

Testing
H3R is a brand, they have (or used to have) multiple types. Which did you go with? I have some of the older MaxOut, and would like to switch to their CleanAgent to prevent any electrical corrosion - but then again, if there is a fire it's probably going to be totaled anyway. And $350 is an awful lot for a 2.5# extinguisher.
