I noticed it wasn't on your list - although amsoil is. I'm curious, can you tell me in what ways does it not meet the specs? Not being snide or facetious, I'd just like to know what areas it is lacking?Mobile Delvac is a good oil, it just doesn't meet the Chrysler MS-12991 specification. You can always give it a try, pull a sample, and post your UOA results.
Or do you just mean it doesn't have the approval (just like amsoil on your list)?
I can't seem to find the "specs" for Chrysler MS-12991 specification. I can't find the saps levels for pennzoil, either. Since I am not an oil expert its hard to figure things out.
I've done a good bit of searching to find out what the specs for MS-12991 actually are. Same with Pennzoil's sap levels and it seems that neither company has that information available online.
So when you say it "doesn't meet the specs" I'm wondering if you can say exactly what area it doesn't meet?
