Are there any conflicts with engine skid plates with no lift?

Hey everyone, just wondering if I’ll have any issues running an engine/trans skid plate on a stock height rubicon. I know on the JK you typically needed at least a 2 inch lift to run most engine/trans skid plates, so wondering if that’s the case with the JT. I’m specifically looking at the MORE skid plate.

Per M.O.R.E. if you don't have at least a 2.5" lift you may have driveline rubbing.

Tire the rock. The straight axle will keep the rock from going up into the engine. I've landed more on my center cross bar than I ever gotten close to getting something under the engine. I've dropped down onto something underwater which I heard on the gas tank skid, but again nothing under the engine.

I’ve seen a lot of posts of people with smashed oil pans across the JK/JT forum, and people who have had transmission lines ripped out because they weren’t covered with a plate. Don’t want that to happen to me, there’s a lot of rocky trails out west. Im especially gonna need it when I start hitting the rubicon soon 😁

Dented the oil pan right at the drain plug coating me $700 in our 2019 JLUR wheeling on holcomb creek trail when it was wet. Tire slipped off of a rock and Jeep landed right on the pan. Skids are cheap.

I have the MORE Oil/Trans Skid plate on a Stock Height Mojave, works great and glad I have it - there are plenty of scratches and dings - well made product that went on without modification. Highly recommended.

I have a 2020JTR and run the Asfir engine/trans skid with no lift. I have no rubbing but did turn the bolts that mount the skid to the brackets inward (nuts to the inside of skid) just for added precaution.

Ohhh sorry I think there’s a bit of a misunderstanding, I’m referring to covering the oil pan, I guess not really the engine per say. But yeah, oil pan/transmission skid is what I’m after! Oh hell no! I’m gonna be on 37s and lifted haha. But it could be done in theory… this dude is a lot crazier than most, I was shocked to see him make it through the entire trail without body damage or any failures.
