Welcome to planet earth?

People wonder - if aliens exist, why haven't we seen them or heard from them?
My response - they came here looking for intelligent life, and went back home telling their leaders - 'nothing to report'. Class M planet with no signs of intelligent life.
We resent resemble that remark. 😂

That's not Big Brother spying on you. That's your truck calling for help. Every new truck that is capable includes one year of the Guardian Service. If you don't like it, don't subscribe at the end of the trial period. Didn't your Dealer explain any of this when you bought the truck? You had to provide an email address so they could create your account, and you had to respond and create your password.
Yep, Mine is about to expire after one fre year.

What do we need to remove, disable or disconnect…to defeat the big brother spying? 2023 JTRD.
Cut the free Cell antenna above your sound bar. Unless you boght a stipped down 23 JT Max Tow and want to buy a Sirius equipped radio. In that case count your blessings. Take a look. It's there.

Hi, I found this thread on another forum where someone did this to their 4xe.

He details where he found the cell card in his head unit.
Please let us know if you try this, I may also be interested in giving it a try.

https://www.4xeforums.com/threads/i-removed-the-cellular-modem-from-my-4xe-followup-post.1067/

After reading his write-up, I would think just disconnecting the antenna connections from the card would be enough to stop any connection to a cell tower.

Read that again. He intended it as a possessive, not a contraction.
No he didn’t. If he were using it as a possessive form, then he is saying that “there” belongs to “it”?

“Take a look. It's there” - or - Take a look. It is there.

That isn’t a possessive. “It” is the subject of the sentence, “is” is the verb, and “there” is the predicate adjective. In fact if he had said it as a possessive “Its there”, it wouldn’t qualify as a sentence.

He is talking about this site containing more than its share of morons. Take out the apostrophe and put the words in, the sentence is not correct.

Jeep uses Uconnect.... which is similar to Onstar (GM). So YES - you are constantly connected to Stellantis. Anytime you have the ability to press a button to summon emergency services or some other 'connected service' (without your cell phone or cell signal) - Big Brother can be watching.

When I owned a GMC Canyon and was running around on the Canyon forums..... and from what I remember, someone actually found the magical Onstar Box/controller. The thought was......the only way to be completely disconnected, was by literally pulling the plug out of that Onstar box. I don't know if anyone had the guts to actually do it - because (like our Jeeps), the vehicle would probably explode with errors and shit wouldn't work.

I honestly don't believe they're spying on you - unless the police have requested it. And I don't think they're giving our information to others (unless they get hacked). Hell.... you're more susceptible to being hacked or spied upon simply by getting on Facebook!!!
OnStar does include a capability to both function correctly AND provide the PoPo an audio link I to your car to listen in on all your conversations. This, theoretically, requires a warrant to activate. Or a cyber breach with a very specific "fuck that guy in particular" intent.

But exactly the same is true of your cellphone.

C'mon mate, you're better than that, stick the knife in and turn.

You might as well have said "I know you are but what am I?"..... at least put some effort into it so we can all have a good laugh.

For what it's worth, even if I knew a vehicle nefariously collected data, I would never subpoena it. Through your cell phone, I can triangulate your general movements. Next, your apps all ping location, and if anything you have is linked to google, I can pinpoint your location within 5 feet. Next is all the geocache information your apps collect, and then next is municipal cameras, ring, security cameras, etc. that I use facial recognition or AI to spot your vehicle and license plate. I'll know were you live and determine when and how much electricity you used to determine when you were home. Same with water and internet. I'd get your computer, break through whatever encryption software you think is protecting your information, and pore over every detail of your electronic history. Your banking, credit card transactions, etc. I'll figure out where you buy gas, how much of it, and determine your daily schedule-- so I know when you deviate from it.

Suffice to say, you can't wipe your ass without the government knowing, if they wanted to. I can collect so much information about you that you'll be coming to me to ask what your favorite color is. ;)

So don't worry about the Jeep.
