2024 coils fit a 2023?

Hey everyone?

I have opportunity to buy 2024 Rubicon X JT coils. Obviously the part numbers are completely different.

So can't confirm if 2024 coils should work on a 2023. I believe nothing has changed but just want to confrim.

For anyone that's wondering

Front part # for both coils is
68607513AB

And both rear coils are
68607540AA

They won't be for sale as parts until Mid July.

From what I have found the front coils are the same for 2024 Rubicon X and Mojave X. That part number should be the highest rated OEM front springs. As both come with steel bumpers.

Also the new 2024 Willy's package uses Rubicon springs now instead of Sport Springs.

Yeah, I'm going to assume, based on all the additions and upgrades on the 2024, putting them on a 2020-2023 Sport will probably be a more consistent +1" and less of the 1/2" to 1" won't know until you try game.

Especially since there seems to be a consistent spring pair with the Rubicon X and Mojave X packages.

I haven't found any major changes on aftermarket lift kits for 2024. The sway bar bolt size has changed. That's about it.

Unless they are free, I'll pass on the "assume" "probably consistent" 1". Aftermarket springs are not that expensive, especially if you find them on sale. I don't get the obsession with oem springs. They are all too soft when you add gear or winch or whatever. Even our JLUR with XR got new springs after the 1st time I loaded up the camping gear.

Im not seeing 23 and 24 suspension components cross over however this does not mean they wont physically fit. I believe there was just alot suspension tuning changes made. What supports my theory as well is that the mopar lift kits fit all years with no restrictions.

Benny- Any chance you can recheck your database and let us know if it indicates that these 2024 Mojave X springs fit 2023 and prior Mojaves? Your assumption that all JL springs fit all models seems reasonable to me but would be nice if it could have some confirmation.

As mentioned by other with the spring seats being the same going back to 2020 these springs have the same design, Just different spring rates. They will fit.

I saw in another thread and confirmed with Benny that the rear coil part number is 68607529AA?? Above listed part number is different. Just trying to make sure I order correctly.

Spring rates are what is different between the models, rubicon springs are not "lift" springs. The 1-1.5" of clearance comes from the hi-line fenders. That in combination with the wider axles allows for more space in the wheel wells and is why they can run 35's with no modification.

All that to say, they'll probably fit, but results may vary.
