Usually, in the mornings I will let my jeep idle until the coolant temp gets up to or past 90F. This morning i started it by remote start since it was a little colder (at least for CA) and wanted to let it warm up while i was getting ready to leave. When i walked outside i noticed that the idle sounded weird. Almost like it was fluctuating and reving up/down. I got in and pressed the start button to get it out of the remote start mode, and it was still fluctuating. I reved the engine a little to see if it would settle, and as the RPMs went up, there was a clatter/grinding noise. It sounded like the same noise when the fuel pump went out and my jeep stalled. However, once the jeep was warmed and driving, the noise never occured again.
Back in June of this year when i was up in Washington, it dropped into the low 30s and my jeep was still warming up and got the same noise and actually started to loose power when in moition. But this time had a code popup which was P053C I drove back to the house and parked and let it sit until the next day and didn't have an issue.
Has anyone had any issues with cold starts? Or heard any chattering or noise when giving it gas while it was warming up?
