The Owner's Manual has it:Is there a published torque spec for those hard top bolts? This seems like it would be easy to do when re-installing the top after removal.

Dealership gets paid very little to prep a Jeep, you can't expect them to catch something like that? Good thing you caught and I'm sure they will take care of it. Demanding is not a great word, remember the phase "you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar"I purchased a Nighthawk on 8/1/24 from a dealer in Vero Beach, FL. Yesterday, I folded the rear seat down for the first time and noticed this crack on the hardtop. To me, it looks like it was done at the factory when it was installed. I have filed a case with Mopar. Needless to say, this does not give me confidence in the dealership that should have caught it. I will DEMAND a whole top replacement or vehicle replacement.

which will in turn be superseded by the pentastar tick. That little crack will be the least of your worries once the rear glass starts leaking.
Cool your jets. You are not getting a whole new truck. That's a warranty claim and you are owed a replacement roof section, nothing more. This is why you bought a new truck with a warranty. Why would the dealer have caught that? No one, not one single person at the dealer has time to crawl through every vehicle and do an inspection of every nut and bolt.I purchased a Nighthawk on 8/1/24 from a dealer in Vero Beach, FL. I’m quite confident that nobody in here has been airborne more than i was a few weeks ago. I was not implying that cracks are to be expected. Fiberglass just doesn’t come out perfect every time and this particular top quite likely was misformed in that areaI've hit many in my day without cracking the fiberglass hardtop.
Or... when his windshield gets chipped or cracked. I'm on my 2nd windshield since Jan 2024 that needs replacement. That little crack will be the least of your worries once the rear glass starts leaking.
So... one... Ugga Dugga, not two?! Or, just the Ugga without the dugga. The Owner's Manual has it:

Geez--def take a xanex before you go trucking over to the dealership with your "demand" for a vehicle replacement!! With a little luck maybe they'll swap out your sport with a rubicon or Mojave--good luckI purchased a Nighthawk on 8/1/24 from a dealer in Vero Beach, FL. No shit. An easily removable and replaceable piece is busted, so clearly and logically Stellantis needs to take a $45K bath on the whole truck to replace a $2500 part... or else!Cool your jets. Get a grip.
Remember Pearl Harbor...I don't know why I am shocked considering the quality reputation of Stellantis products and dealers but I am. I am going to go to the end of the earth to make sure that I am made whole with this. I have two other vehicles that are Japanese and there were zero defects and have only required regular maintenance and wear items. One is 17 years old and one is almost 11.
