I just got back from the dealer. I actually received a top with the Sound Deadening on it. I am leaving a 5 star review for the dealership.
I’d be pissed if I bought a new jeep that was supposed to come with sound deadener and it was missing, I’d also be pissed my new top was cracked.

wonder how the dealer will deal with this

The other jeep isn’t likely sold. They’ll get a new top under warranty, and either sell it without sound deadening, or install it from the parts department. It’s not like they stole some owners top.

I betcha they’ll sell it as is, and replace (again) if the new owner complains …

I just noticed that part of my trailer hitch is missing. The main part is there but not the receiver part. Weird.

I agree with you 100%, but I bet someone else doesn't. :giggle:
You’re both pretty cynical. Do you expect that everyone is unethical?

That’s normal, depending on what package your truck has. If you share your window sticker, I can look at it to confirm.

Cause they probably want to go through this over and over and they don't want to spend Stellantis money on a top. Right.
No, they already performed an unethical maneuver to please a customer … the right answer was to speed Stallantis money and order a new top and swap it when it comes in. It’s a cosmetic crack, no urgency.

I’m done with this idiocy. You guys are why the internet sucks. So I’ll just tell you you’re flat out wrong.

1. It’s near a fastener. It’s structural, not cosmetic.

2. They did right by their customer, and did nothing unethical. You’re imagining that they will, but it’s all your cynical predictions.
