For anyone thinking about getting the tune sold by Green Diesel Engineering, they have a 15% off deal going on this month.
Just ordered mine last night.
Looking forward to posting some thoughts about it and some before and after oil analysis results to see if it helps reduce the soot in the engine.
My primary goal is reliability and longevity. The extra power and hopefully MPG will be a bonus.

The RAM folks mentioned that fuel dilution is an issue with GDE, soot in the intake should be reduced with more use of the low pressure (filtered) EGR. However I wouldn’t expect the oil soot to change much.

I been teeter tottering GDE, EOC Stage 1 (EGR and DPF disabled) or the whole enchilada with EOC stage 2.

EOC is a small operation but the sources the sell are top of the pyramid if doing a full weight loss. GDE is top for emission compliant tuning.

I have gde and submit regular oil samples. Love the tune, and I have the updated mapping.

Are you using the Power gate 3 or did they give you the power gate 4 tuner to update things?

I only used the handheld for my trans. I sent the whole ecu in for cloning and mapping as I have my oem tune on the original ECU.

What do you think about the trans tunes? I like the stock tunes on mine. Does it lock converter earlier or something for the sake of fuek economy

Faster, slightly firmer shifts to minimize slip and heat unless it's cold, then it holds longer to warm up the engine and trans faster to minimize pre dpf egr.
