Pretty sure when I did mine it was free shipping via Northridge. Compared to the other items the plate isn't all that heavy or large, so most dealers it falls under free shipping (e.g., spend 'x' amount of money for free ship).
I understand , Northridge is where it came from . I don't get any kind of deal to ship it myself hence weight matters. I had always hoped to have someone near south Jersey need one and I can make it well worth their while even compared to free shipping from Northridge
THat looks like shit, spend a few more bucks, see if you can find a stubby that the winch mounts to the top of for a bit more money.
Were there changes in your coolant temps.?A while back some had reported no change I believe on other forums.
I think there's way too many variables to say "I got xyz change in temps" after the winch install. If you read the numerous threads on temperatures creeping up climbing grades on hot days at speed, the cooling system is barely adequate. Why block any potential airflow if you don't need to? The only way you'd know it's blocking too much air is when you're already over heating. I feel like mounting the winch above the frame isn't optimal for pulling when really stuck anyway. That's a big lever torquing on the frame vs pulling in line with it when mounted properly between the rails. And the cost and complexity added to save...a crap plastic bumper? All negatives with no positive up side in my opinion.
I was only going asking a hundred bucks so it is still pretty damn cheap but shipping would kill it. Thats why I have had the plate a couple Fairleads a harbor freight fairlead mount and trim for the edges after ya cut and a whole plastic bumper to practice on. I’d say its a damn good deal for some to come pick up I have not advertised it I only mention it when I see someone thinking about doing itNah I misread - YOU have the parts. Yes that would be pricey for sure
