I can control someone else's Jeep in my app.

I set up my Jeep app to send monthly health reports. I noticed the report I received last night was not for my Jeep. I opened the app and discovered two Jeep Gladiators in my profile and I had full access to the other Jeep, including location and the ability to lock/unlock doors. I called the dealer and reported this issue this morning. In this case, the other Jeep was the one I initially considered buying but changed my mind after I noticed it lacked the tow package - It wasn’t just a random mix up. However, it is enlightening how easily personal information can be mistakenly leaked.

The other Jeep has since been purchased. In the wrong hands, this could have led to a dangerous outcome to the other Jeep owner. It also leads me to question whether or not someone else may have access to my Jeep

I can still access my traded off 2022 Rubicon on the app and get notice when the other new owner takes it in for service. Could delete the profile I guess but it is interesting to see it still out there.

No. All the Remote Functions allow you to do is Start it, Honk the horn, lock and unlock the doors, and check the location. No personal identifiers are shared during those actions. The Remote Start only works two times, and then has to be started with the FOB in the truck.

This is not something that happens accidentally. The VIN has to be paired with your Mopar account which is tied to the email address you provide. The truck I traded in showed in my account with the new one until I called and had the remaining paid service transferred to the new VIN.

Yeah, you must actually CALL them at Sirius to have it cancelled. Dealers don't - or at least never used to, be able to cancel or change such things.
Somehow it must have been plugged in at the dealer level that the first was a done deal.

I haven’t been able to delete the profile of my old Ram. Any idea how to do this?!?!

Go to "My Garage" and it should show all the profiles and there should be a link in the lower right corner of the vehicle profile square that says "Remove Vehicle".

This reminds me that I need to call as well. I can still see my previous Gladiator and I am still receiving the health reports for it.
