Donât get me started on what garbage that bumper is, but donât use th mounting plate it came with. IF you modify it enough to make it even work, itâs a weak, flawed design. I used the Warn one and itâs great and way stronger. Although, not having a rubicon or using the Mopar steel front skid, I had to buy the front mounting hardware for it to work. I ended up having to buy almost $500 worth of parts for that POS bumper to work and almost $100 in paint and supplies because the powder coat is a joke. $399 for the warn winch plate and $89 for the front skid plate brackets and hardware. It comes as a kit. If you use the Mopar winch plate, make sure that it comes with that brackets or youâll want to order them too.We installed a MP concepts aluminum bumper on the JT, did not use the winch plate yet, others say its not so good, so we may use the original Mopar winch plate, on this bumper.
Fitment and installation as good, however we changed some of the cheap coated hardware, at the coating was brittle out of the bag.
from your post its not clear from what chinese bumpers you speak.
I used the Apex 12k with synthetic line. It was on sale for $479.
