DITTO on the sound bar rattle - comes and goes and I've done the same attempt at isolating the rattle when it pops up, contorting and applying pressure here and there...
Drop the sound bar remove the poly fill and wrap the wires with Tesa tape. Try to sandwich the wires between the poly fill when you replace it.

I just ordered the same components you listed. Did you install the crossovers for the sound bar speakers? Where/how did you mount them? Are they plug and play, or did you have to cut off the factory plug?
Also, did you have to cut a hole in the new speaker covers to mount the tweeters? Kind of hard to visualize how the roll bar speakers go together by the instructions I received. They don’t cover the crossover or mounting the tweeter.
Hopefully my questions are not confusing. Thank you for your help.

My concern with the crossover is, will not using it for the tweeter and going directly to the tweeter with the factory plug overdrive the tweeter and damage it.

Last time I did the knee speakers it wasn’t worth the effort, but that was in the base radio system. I don’t have a problem with the alpine knee speakers, they work for me. I did however do the dash speakers. I replaced those with the kicker dash speakers from the Dodge dart. Decent upgrade for some more highs but not setting the world on fire by any means. Biggest upgrade for me was adding two monster 8” subs under the back seat and a 2700 watt amp to go with them. Now my inner fender liners are rattling 😂

Did you happen to have the sound bar “rattle “ or vibration prior to installing the updated speakers? How much of the polyfill was applied in the sound bar area when the new speakers were installed? Definitely going to update but want to figure out the fix for the speaker bar noise before dropping new speakers in. I’ve not checked the almighty “YouTube “ for this issue I’d rather get info from someone not trying to get followers.
I don’t know how different the pre-2024 soundbar is but I just found loose map lights on mine that I thought was a blown speaker. Tightened that and the sound seems good again!

It’s funny you mention that because that’s exactly what caused the speaker bar rattle in my old TJ. So unfortunately that was one of the first items I looked at and was not the cause. I can physically push pressure up onto the speaker bar and the rattle will diminish. Haven’t really spent much disassembly time on this issue yet but certainly reminded of it several times a week. 🤯

That is what led me to this. I pushed on the speaker grill and the noise dissipated so I got home and started taking stuff apart. Haha

Anyone do the upgrades mentioned by OP minus the knee speakers? I did the entire install on my 19 JL for the alpine unit and the knee speakers were a royal PIA, swore I'd never do that again. I'm on the fence of just doing the trail7 kicker soundbar pod upgrade or doing what OP did and installing some Infinity speakers 6.5" soundbar and 3.5" in the top dash. I did put some Kicker 3.5" in the front dash and 3.5/4" speakers in the soundbar already, also added a HS10 sub in the rear which adds some very nice bass but just looking for a little louder volume when the tops off, but afraid thats only gonna happen with a new Amp install.

So further listing this morning proved I didn’t solve it. Poked around some more and noticed that it felt like the screw bottomed out in the thread insert before the grill was secure. Borrowed a handful of poly washers from work and put those between the grill and soundbar. Now you can feel the screw pushing against the cover instead of a hard stop I got before tightening them. Threw some bass heavy stuff off YouTube I’d never listen to on my own free will and it seemed good. Time will tell though.

Cool 😎!!! Post more if it’s a fix!!!! I’ll have to look into that as a possibility! Thanks for the update…..that’s what makes this forum worth researching. By the way TOOL has an awesome song list that invites this vibration noise!!!! lol 😂

I just did. The knee panel speakers and pods were on back order. I installed the infinity speakers the op did in the dash and sound bar. Sounds great. I will cancel the knee panel speakers. Too much of a headache to swap.

Agree on the headache.

I had a similar experience with my 2023 Mojave. I honestly could not figure out how a "premium" system could sound so gawdawful bad. I even watched Youtube videos by the Alpine guys who designed the system. Where did all this tech go so so wrong? My truck was a messy swamp of dirty midbass without much else. I worked through a number of options, and here is what worked for me. First, replace the dash speakers with Terraacoustics component kit designed for our jeeps. Takes 10 minutes. Cost $250. So, contrary to what a lot of people say, the 4" subwoofers in the soundbar are not the problem. They are actually designed and ported specifically for that enclosure. But the ambient frequency is a little off making them sound sloppy. I got some plugs and plugged the ports to see what would happen. Cracked and rattled at loud volumes. Not good. I removed the 3 1/2 paper cone speakers and noticed that a lot of the distortion was gone from the system. I replaced them with 3.5" Infinity Reference speakers, and was very impressed. You can buy them and wiring harnesses off Amazon for about $80 and $11 respectively. The last thing I did was to take the foam plug out of the factory position (you need that room to mount the Infinitys), cut off the bat wings, which left me with a 1.5" acoustic foam plug. I loosely placed that in the subwoofer port, and it seemed to tighten up the bass a little. Put everything back together and it all works great. The terras and infinitys really complement one another nicely. There is plenty of bass, but its no longer a horrible muddy mess. All for about $300, and no dash disassembly required!

Installed the Trail Seven speaker pods in the soundbar and they sound great. Very happy and also added the Kicker HS10 subwoofer. I think I’m done. 👌

I just pulled the 3.5's from the dash and the 3.5's and 4s from the soundbar as my new speakers are out for delivery. I decided to go with 4x3.5s and 2x4" to replace them rather than the 6.5s. Using infinity for all 6 speakers. Interesting observation with the multimeter. The 3.5s measure 3.3 ohms so the impedance is likely 4 ohms. The 4" speakers measure 1.9 ohms so they are 2 ohms speakers. The 3 ohm infinitys should increase the power output on the 3.5s, but will actually reduce it to the 4s.
