My goal has always been to counter crap with truth and facts where possible.you combat anti electric car "bullshit" like its your fulltime job cat man
If you don't want one, don't buy one - but the BS excuses are not "reasons".
I've worked for decades countering bullshit. One can never win because when the truth is out of facts to convey, the other side always has hate and endless ammo made up of anything they can think of. But the smart ones will figure it out and sort the fact from the crap.
Sad when even dealership employees spew bullcrap - and people post "well, my service manager said.........." or "my service advisor said........." and they take that as factual? Because they are a dealership employee? They are trained on how to make things sound good to customers who don't know any better and who won't bother going any farther because some employee of a dealership said it!
A dealership tech also said that ABS and TC don't work below 35 mph - I bet 95% of all customers would believe that.
A dealership tech, and service advisor said "low batteries were due to the winch draining them" (even though there was a big red disconnect switch right next to the battery). I bet even some Jeep owners would believe it.
There's a lot of crap info out there, oils, transmissions, batteries and so on0 but the worst is in the PHEV area. Heck, some who have driven the PHEV version of the WK2 and the JLU even have the facts wrong - such as "gas only mode once the battery is down" - very wrong. It's a hybrid, it's that simple, among other very incorrect things people still believe, even after driving one.
Possible......... they have to weigh the demand globally, and all across the U.S. but if there's enough demand in 45 of the states (50 minus certain obvious states) to counter any negative from the rest of the world - I can't see why not.I wouldn't be surprised if the EcoDiesel returns for 2027.
