Then we get to the looks, kind of trailer park engineering? I would Have used a small poly pallet, or rubber slabs. What interests me the most is the methane system? Can you tell us how that works please?
since we cant be civil my trailer park self will take my METHANE (really, WTF) and head somewhere else, my last post

@Sandman 4x4 Methane!!!??? Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones? If you are going to be a shithead and try to insult someone's work.....at least get it right? Have you engineered something that is WAY better? Probably not??!!!. "That was about a funny as a screen door on a battleship!" -Biff Tannen-

@Chance575 Don't let one knucklehead saying stupid stuff drive you away and grow some thicker skin! The internet is a tough place these days.....Keyboard warriors always have something negative to say........Its a reflection of where they are at in life. Pathetic place we are in right now!

I for one am interested in your build setup! I couldn't give up my bed space as I need a 7'+ bed, but I have yet to see ANYONE install Water/Meth on a Jeep Eco. I would love to know if it would keep the intake manifold clean/cleaner over time.

Forget about him.

I'm curious about the methanol system. How much does it help with cooling? How much extra power?

Sorry if I offended anyone, that was not my intention. I am also very interested in the meth? System if not methane.

METHANOL, not methane. It's also close to a 50/50 mixture of methanol and water.

For those of you curious, this should answer all your questions.

I'm curious on how much this might help oil temps while towing. I'd be interested in a stage 3 kit for while towing out west. There really hasn't been a solid or guaranteed solution for combating heat, so either spend $1,000 on things that might help a little, or spend #1,000 on a meth kit and just fill it when needed.

I used a water/meth kit from Snow performance to cool EGT's on my 24V Cummins tow rig. It worked well but I would have needed a HUGE tank to tow very far. I ended up doing a compound turbo system. The water/meth seemed better suited to short, full-throttle runs. Interested to see how long the reservoir lasts for the OP.

so please explain how said wood will rot out under a bed cover, I’ve had two 2x4s in the rear slots in the bed since I bought this truck new in June 2021 and they look brand new. secondly have you looked under a box truck ? Almost all of them have wood in between the box and the frame rails.

The tank is a 25 gallon sumped fuel cell from Rhodes race cars. Everything is mounted via 5/16 nutserts in the bed and is completely removable. This is version 1.5 sort of, and all will come out in about two weeks for a diy spray liner. It gravity fills pretty fast. Driving down the road the gauge will not move until the cell is empty. This is intended on being a setup I use for traveling only. I get round 12-14 towing around 5000 lbs.

meth is working well so far, EGTs are down and IATs are ambient all the time. I believe I will switch to a smaller nozzle. i have it set to come on at 14 psi and they all go full power at 30 psi. Only bad is they don’t offer a threaded MAP sensor so I had to go with a nipple to rubber hose to the sensor. They suggested some zip ties or clamps to keep it from blowing off.

Pic of connection to filler neck

oh I’m a 22 years veteran of a PD and currently an evidence officer, I handle drugs daily, meth doesnt scare me it’s the fentanyl in all the drugs now
